1st post. RAB. I heard rumors that it was Regulas but i think that's rubbish. My idea is that it is "Borgin and Burkes" You know the ancient artifact sellers. The one who's currently selling, Burkes, couldn't be him, but Borgin is unmentioned and it would fit in perfectly because he has relations with artifacts, horcruxes, and would come into face with them alot. Maybe the store was started by a Good and Evil side. The current seller is evil and the other was good. I also think that snape isn't bad. He had made the unbreakable vow and if he didnt do it, unbelievable things would of happened to him. i believe he made the unbreakable vow without knowing that malfoy's task was unknown to him

you said its "borgin and burkes", but notice the first letter in RAB....is in fact an R not a B.

i think something important we need to find out is who was the note directed to?? who was r.a.b expecting to read the note?? 3 ppl tht are on the list...

maybe R.A.B died in the cave?? maybe he couldnt make it out alive.....maybe he was killed by the theory (and if that is true then it rules out regulus i think) did they say whether they found his body or not??

Erm... I can't. See, Harry kinda got his ass kicked by Snape. Harry went all out, trying to use Unforgivables against Snape. And all Snape did was deflect them, and still, he had no trouble beating Harry.
Makes me wonder how the Boy-Who-Lived is gonna keep his title. I mean Snape is powerful and skilled, but Voldemort's probably double that. And how's he going to beat old Voldy if he can't beat Snape?

but wat if it was like 3 people from the order or something... because R.A.B. could be: R: Remus A: ? B: Black or some other people. maybe sirius knew he was going to die and wrote that without the other 2 knowing?? And maybe they took it and put in the fake one cause they knew dumbledore was going to die and they put a potion like the living death draught in so that dumbledore could not die or something???

Did you even READ the book????
The note quite clear states "To The Dark Lord" or words to that effect.
Just thought of something.
What does Dumbledore tell Draco when they're talking on the tower?
"They cannot kill you if you're already dead"
Right there Dumbledore is telling us that The Order has in the past faked the deaths of people who wanted to escape Voldemort's wrath.
He offers protection to Draco and his parents, by faking their deaths.
I submit that Regulas is alive and in hiding though to the wizarding world he is dead and gone.
