A.) Taking over the galaxy (the first Sith to do so) is not a measure of his power, but of his intelligence and patience. That's what makes him Great. Not powerful, but Great.
B.) Manipulating midichlorians to create life is indeed a monumental feat, and doubtless required tremendous effort and skill. But to say it required the most powerful Sith to do so is ignorant when you have no idea of how Plagueis actually did it. I could hypothetically destroy the world with the push of a button (something no one else can claim to have done) but that does not make me the most physically powerful/biologically superior human.
C.) I don't know if you were joking or not, but Mace kicking Sidious' ass does not detract from Sidious being the most powerful Sith.

you guys making belittling statements doesnt mean you win. and to think that a sith master that found out how to create life has no battle technique is just stupid. there is extremely little info on him but that in no way implies weakness. none. yeah i may not be able to give you guys some chumped up battle scenario that ends with a ratio (plagueis 9/10), but simple logic is the deciding factor in this one. you guys are just too into your favorite characters. seriously. the fact that you guys are taking this so seriously is pretty laughable really. im just tryin to have some fun and learn a thing or two. lol.

Tisk, tisk. Stick to one story. Either Plagueis wanted a new apprentice and probably created Anakin, or Sidious was just the typical Sith prick who betrayed his master. 😛
In other news, its entirely probably that Plagueis was the one who trained Sidious in all seven forms of lightsaber combat. Which would indicate he was pretty good.
And in other news (to EH), Palpatine didn't think Plageuis' ability to manipulate midichlorians was due to Sith alchemy. Rather, it was due to him looking deep inside himself and an immense understanding (read: command) of the Force. He wasn't given the epithet 'the Wise' for nothin', you know. 😉 And by Darth Sidious, the most learned being in the ways of the Force, no less.
EDIT: Big S - it was canceled. I don't think they've put it back on their schedule yet.
