1.) to the OP. your opinions of who beats who are no more fact then anyone elses, much as there really is no right or wrong answer for the most part i any Vs thread because anything is possible and only the characters creators can have the real answer, much proven by the many times one character beat another in book when it seemed like they couldnt. therefore your test cancels itslelf out by proxy.

2.) if one wanted to ignore that fact anyways and give it a go within your realm, alls they would have to do is find a set of answers you have approved to and copy it, or mix and match a few and lets just say i already did that and i therfore won. whatever i just won i dont really know and dont really care.

1. Someone asked me to make this thread to prove he wasn't a fanboy and he knew my opinion was highly respected, this was like 4 years ago. It continued from there.

2. I always allow people to explain their reasoning on one of the more extreme ones, in case there is something I didn't miss. If it is something close I don't care if the person says it is possible, i.e Superman or Thor. Unless we are talking numbers.

3. Other people are willing to give their opinion. Not just me. The writers who write the book change frequently and their feats do as well for whatever the story inquires. So there generally isn't one "right" answer, and there are different creators and some are just senile, however in this thread my word is law here. 😉

4. It is for fun. In all the time you spent doing that you could have simply took the test instead of being scared of looking bad, it wouldn't have been that harsh.

no harm intended, im just a stinker and i had to. i still did however "win" in the realm of this if you think about it. alls i really need to do is emulate answers you deemed correct already and saying that i could practically says i did.

i am curious though whether the intention here when you said "fan-boy" (sexist?), was that meant as "Wolverine fan-boy" or "comics fan-boy".

personally, i wouldnt see Wolverine winning the majority of the list. problem i keep running into is Wolverines abilities and weaknesses seem to have gotten out of whack lately, majorly because of an instance in which Nitro fried him and reduced him to almost nothing and he recovered rather quickly, which for me and everthing ive seen of this character as a hardcore X-Men fan seems to be in direct contrast of everything thats known and happened before (and not to mention logic itself), and think thats one of the reasons certain people suddenly became convinced that Logan was in fact nigh invincable.

But it's been noted to strain Iceman to remain in gas or liquid form for extended periods, so I doubt he'd stick with it for long. And, of course, Hulk has near limitless stamina.

My question is; how could Iceman beat Hulk? Eventually Iceman turns solid or in some way vulnerable, and Hulk nails him. So I'd say it's a prolonged stalemate until Iceman tires.

So, actually, I guess my real answer for Iceman would be "eventually".

Iceman can't really be killed by him, but do you think he could freeze his bloodstream before he really got amped up? I see Hulk at a disadvantage here.
