Thing. Hm...it's tough because Wolverine has been shown to be able to cut Thing. And that could prove very useful. However, in my personal opinion, one good strong hit from Thing should render Wolvie unconscious (I do not believe that Wolvie should be able to withstand the Hulk or any other heavy hitters the way that he does. Just saying this before anyone retaliates with that.). So, I think that fight really could go either way.

Wolverine functions best up close and personal. Long range attackers will do well, but only if it's powerful enough to take him down. That's why Wolverine can beat She-Hulk, but lose to Cyclops, despite the fact that Cyclops would lose to She-Hulk.

You have to analyze the matchups, not just their place on some perceived pecking order. And that's the problem I have with "fanboy tests".
