Well, considering Duku is on the loosing side of the overall battle, I would say Windu, that is if Duku stayed in the arena after the clones attacked. If not and it were Windu and not Ani and Obi Wan then it would posibly be Duku, because Duku is good, but Windu is a tad bit better. In the clone wars, Duku was training with Grevious and was able to take his fighting style, as was Windu, and Im giving Grevious the benefit of the doubt in saying that he probably went just as easy on Windu as he did on Duku.
I think you people misunderstand something.
I hate the cross analogy shit going on like crazy.
"OMG MACE CAN SMOKE PALPATINE, BUT YODA COULDNT, SO THAT MEANS MACE WOULD F*CK YODA UP!"
Wrong. You cannot do that! People have different fighting styles and different things happen when in battle with different people.
It would be a long fight, but i don't see Mace coming out on top.
If you ask me, I think Mace would win. Vaapad is a lightsaber combat form that requires the user to draw power from the Dark Side, and also draw power from the Light Side to prevent corruption. Also in Shatterpoint, Vaapad acts as a superconducting loop for the user and his opponent, which means that whatever dark side gets thrown at, say Mace?, will be reflected at, say Palpatine.
Haven't any of you guys read the novelization of Episode III? Makashi is, well, terrible to use against Shien/Djem So (Anakin's lightsaber combat style in Ep.III) because it lacked the kinetic power Djem So has.
Vaapad is basically a blend of Shien/Djem So and Ataru, so Windu is better than Dooku.
This would be a very close fight. Since Mace had been fighting, he would be kinda tired. This would give Dooku an advantage. Dooku uses Makashi, which is bad for deflecting blasters. This gives Mace the advantage because while Mace and Dooku are dueling, if a blaster comes at Dooku, he would have to turn his concentration to deflecting it. Mace would then most likely attack. Another plus for Mace is Vapaad which is pretty damn good for saber to saber. Anyway, I am still undecided and I can see it going both ways.
