1. Several other people in this thread also brought up Janus's post.

2. Five years ago the ROTS novel was already released. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think that it was either in that novel or the AOTC novel (which was also already released) in which Dooku stated how afraid of Sidious he was. Oh, and by this time there were already quotes regarding, either directly or indirectly, Sidious as the most powerful sith lord of all time.
