My apologies by creating a new thread about fights but mine focuses more on the cause not places. In this case is school. I would never allow my son to go to it. By studying at home you get more attention and better grades, your body&mind rested and relaxed in the comfort of your home. Due to social activities like employment, our parents cannot provide this attention so this type of teaching collectively was intended to relate both genders and form public society. This creates great chaos as the children do not share this motivation "created by adults" we rather prefer to meet at fun places, never on occasions like this. While we grow our system changes, we feel different and aggressive. The laws never support our needs just the cause results, resulting in failure most of the time, causing anxiety and pressure. Avoid where the troublemakers hang out.
Don't look like a victim; at the very least, look like you know where you're supposed to be and what you're supposed to be doing.
If you can go about your business in the company of friends/classmates, do so.
If you can talk yourself out of a situation, do so.
If you can walk away, do so.
Don't bring any weapon with you unless you are an expert in using it; otherwise it will likely end up being used against you.
Don't wear any excessive/expensive jewelry or clothing; be discrete in using a cell phone, ipod, etc.
I work in inner city high schools. All of them have gangs. The majority of students go through high school without being attacked. Gang members have enough to worry about, mostly staying "below the radar" so police don't get on their ass, and dealing with rival gangs. They generally don't waste their time with civilians unless you give them reason to.
Odds are in your favor nothing will happen to you, especially if you arm yourself with common sense.

Depends on where you live, homes. If you live in rural Kansas, then your probably right. I went to high school in south-central Phoenix, and all of those schools are riddled with G's, ese. I myself was a banger back in the day (I'm by no means proud of it), and can tell you all sorts of shit about what its like. 2 of my boys are in high school, but in a better part of Phoenix, so they dont have the same kind of exposure.
My advice Dark Thor: dont take shit from nobody, homes. A good way to earn respect from bangers, is to not let anybody let nobody punk you out or make you look like a b*tch. If some fool gets in your face, then stare right back and ask that vato what he wants. In fact, demand to know what his ass wants! It will tell him that your not someone to be f*cked with, and earn some respect points from him. Having gangsters as friends has its advantages; nobody will f*ck with you cuz your homies got your back, and you'll always have access to weed.
But if you want to avoid that shit altogether, then just go to another school, homes.
