Yes. I spoke to one of them recently, my boy J. They somehow all heard I that just graduated college and I received props across the board for that.
I don't think they were excited about my sudden departure into going solo, though. And since I don't kinda like saying goodbye, since goodbyes are forever, slowly but naturally, I just stopped chillin' and left without really saying anything.
But they all saw I wanted more and I'm sure they realized that things couldn't stay as they were, and that now, things can't be as they were. That I had to move on. And I think anyone should respect that.
I made a tough decision that took courage I think, especially when they were all I knew. The last thing I heard my boy J say to me was "Yo, do it up, son."
