The usual age at which a kid becomes a thug is between 12 and 15. But your average G ranges from their mid-teens to late 20's. (They don't have a very long life-span, for obvious reasons) ...and if ya wanna leave a gang without a "legit" reason 😬, forget about it, homes. Its practically hell, ey.

No, the thugs usually don't bother others. They might mad-dog a nerdy kid just for kicks, but usually they are in two seperate worlds.
