The way he phased it was a bit odd. I think he might've meant it as "the special thing about the sword isn't that it's the longest, it's that it's the fast." I.e. it may be the longest but that's not important.

He explicitly states that Kami Shini no Yari isn't the longest Zanpakutou, but the fastest.

Yea, I know that. But note in the second how he uses quotes. It isn't the "longest zanpaku-to".

I mean, I guess we could be in for a superlong one, but I'm just guessing that what he means by that is "it's length isn't important it's speed is."

While the true nature of the Hogyoku was something that seemed surreal, it was a rather nice card that Kubo played.

My question is: Will we see Yoruichi soon?

And, dare I hope, with a sword? A shikai? And perhaps even a Bankai?

just when Aizen was about to transform Urahara finally shows up. so now it'll most likely be a fight between Aizen and Isshin/Urahara.

wow the hogyoku seems somewhat broken considering that it's basically been manipulating everything up until that point.

It does make Aizen's manipulations make more sense though.

"What's going to happen next... well, these characters want X, so I can count on the hogyoku doing it at some point."

Predicting the outcome of things is a whole lot easier when you know your targets are using a cheat code to get them what they want, but don't know they're doing so. It eliminated a lot of the chance in predictions.

My theory is Urahara knew this the whole time, downplayed it, and is going to pull and "Aizen" on Aizen. That means, he's going to reveal how HE was actually the one manipulating everything the whole time and it was just a trick to get Aizen to make his move, so he could prove it or something. Which, would make Urahara even cooler, imo.
