Maybe it's because the action's very decompressed.

More action happens in 1 fighting chapter of Negima or Fairy Tail than in 4 of Bleach.

We got- the grab, then the attack, then recovery. Some series would put all that in three pages instead of a whole chapter.

Ummm....I wasn't really impressed with this chapter. Aizen doesn't look cool or badass at all. On top of that, I actually agree with something that Ichigo said.

Then, even when getting the Hougyoku amp, he still gets smashed by people that Yamamoto would crap on in terms of reiatsu and skill.

Ichigo: What the **** is that?(This was the funniest thing in the chapter)

Are former Gotei captains just better than Gotei ones? Just how powerful is Isshin?

The only people on the field who's strength we're familiar with are Yoruichi and Ichigo.

I thought Yorichi was hawt, big time. Loved her spot.

So, yeah, I thought they were going to Rape Aizen when they captured him up in those chains. That was pretty funny, to me. Aizen looks like he can be damaged, but quicly heals. It will take more Yamamoto level hits to bring him down.

And, I'm not sure that that's her Shikai, at all. That could just be some weird shizer that Urahara invented.

I'm still waiting for Urahara to say something like, "HAHA! It is YOU that does not understand the crystal." Then do some more cool stuff.

I think it was something to protect her limbs so she could punch freely. Remember when she hurt herself punching Yami? Aizen probably > him, so needing protection makes sense.

Well, we don't really know just how strong Yuroichi is with her shikai and bankai. Or maybe she just doesn't like to use it or doesn't have it or something.

If that's her shikai, I'd say "really darn strong." Not only did does it protect her limbs but it looked to me like it increased the impact damage significantly too.

Also, general advice to Bleach people- don't gloat until you've seen their bankai.

Aizen still has them outmatched though. Those three weren't even able to see him move at first.

Not to mention, he took blows from Yuroichi and her shikai/battle accessory.

Yeah. Of course given how idiotic people were in NOT using their bankai against Aizen (i'm looking at you, Vizards...) we might just not see them at all.

Speaking of bankai, shame that Yamamoto's will most likely never be seen. I also wonder if Aizen is going to transform because this can't be it can it?

Aizen also has a Bankai, & a host of other powers he's bound to have thanks to his subjugation of the Hogyouku. He also regenerated from what could be the most deadly attack in the series.

Everyone there has also seen his shikai, with the exception of Ichigo, and perhaps Isshin (assuming Isshin wasn't around when Aizen was Lieutenant/Captain)
According to Unohana, Kisuke and Yuroichi have already seen his shikai. All he has to do when they use their bankai, is to release his shikai. Ichigo's the only one who won't be affected, but comparing him to Aizen (without taking into account the Hollow form displayed against Ulquiorra) is like comparing Tatsuki to Yammy.

None of the other combatants in the first part of the battle, barring Hitsugaya and Sajin, used their bankais anyway.
Mostly has to do with the fact that Aizen could just use his shikai, and also, I think Kubo never wanted to go through the trouble of doing Bankais for 5 people at once.

I really don't get why Aizens even going to fight Kisuke. If he's seen his shikai he's pretty much lost already. Why doesn't he just have him attack the air for a few hours or just replicate Tousens bankai on his ass?

I think we should take bets on whether or not Yoruichi was doing a shikai or had mods from Urahara.

I'm going with shikai, mostly because it complements her well as a shikai should- increases her hand to hand power and defense, increasing her strength in a very useful but straitforward way as I'd expect from Yoruichi.

It could be a mod but that's my bet.

I'm getting real tired of Aizen being so uuuuubbbbeeerrrr bad-ass.

He definitely needs to take a fall sometime soon, or else Kubo will have made him to uber, and not even infinite power-ups by Ichigo will be able to stop him.

finally I'm back online (damn virus).

okay I have to say that Aizen is starting to get ridiculous now (many of you most likely disagree with me on that). I'd understand if he was just fighting Isshin and was winning, but taking on 3 high level fighters and being seemingly immune to their attacks is crazy. hopefully he'll actually get hurt soon.
