Shunsui refers to his shorter zanpakuto as a wakizashi:

Fairy'nuff.

~ Kazeshini is still not a Kusarigama though.

Kazeshini is more like two double edged scythes chained to each other...the kusurigama is nothing of the sort

1. Kusurigama blade is nowhere near as long as kazeshini
2.Kusurigama has to have a iron ball on it or else it isnt a kusurigama
3. here is a kusurigama

Hmm, never noticed that the chain was joined to the main weapon near the blade and not the end of the staff like it is with the Kazeshini.
That's another major difference doped

No, usually the chain is at the end as well... that's just an abnormal kusarigama.

yeah it is

It really isn't. A kusarigama doesn't just mean "two weapons connected by a chain".

i... never said it was 😐

Meh. What was that chain for anyway? To summon Yuroichi?

Cool. So then I guess Superman, Saiyans, & Shinigami are all humans. I mean, they look like humans, so they must be humans, just as some Zanpakutos look like Katanas and therefore must be Katanas. Oh wait, my bad. Superman, Saiyans & Shinigami are all Magical Humans. doh

I also guess that the Koala is really a bear now, since humans think it looks like a bear.
Interesting how this works eh? Naming and categorizing something based on the way it looks, not on what it really is or what it is actually named.

I wonder what most Bankais and Shikais are. You may say they are Katanas, but I would disagree; by your logic, they must be something entirely different.

Renji changes his sword from a katana to a segmented whip-blade, and then into a Bone Snake with some hair still on it. We should call his Bankai "Bone Snake with Red hair" from now on, instead of Hihio Zabimaru.
Sorry, that's "Bone Snake with Red hair and a Red cowl on Renji."

Renji used "Bone Snake with Red hair and a Red cowl on Renji" against Byakuya. At first, Renji's "Bone Snake with Red hair and a Red cowl on Renji" was giving Byakuya a hard time. Even once Byakuya used his shikai "Thousand small Cherry Blossom leaf-like blades," Renji was still dominating with "Bone Snake with Red hair and a Red cowl on Renji." However, once Byakuya used Bakudo #61 - "six very thin weird shapes of yellow light acting as a powerful barrier" and released his bankai "Thousand swords that separate into countless small Cherry Blossom leaf-like blades," he won the battle.

😐

Sorry, man, but Ms. Marvel is right (again) about this one.

It would be like calling Superman, Thor, and Goku "humanoids" because there are many different types of Katanas. 🙂

Also, it's not a twin Zanpakutou because it is not a twin, period. The "rope" that connects the two is not made completely of metal, if that makes sense.

1. Much better ways to pass time no? Liek arguments and stuff.
2. We can use arguments and stuff to pass the time.
3. Assuming Kubo reveals to us what it is.

I know, I already conceded that point 😬

It didn't make much sense tbh. Also, that 'rope' is actually a chain.
Also, in the scan link I posted, Yamamoto says "Pair", not "Twin." Meh, chalk it up to a translation error I guess.

would you like for me to prove that an axe is an axe as well? 😐

No need. It would just be a waste of time, and wouldn't really prove your point. I already made that mistake earlier 😛.

Kazeshini is more of a meld between a scythe-type weapon and an Okinawan Kusarigama. It isn't a Kusarigama though.

The difference between an Okinawan Kusarigama and the standard Kusarigama is like the difference between a Nodachi and a Tachi or a Katana.

look at how long kazeshini;s blades are kusurigama blades never were that long. Also look at the length of the handle itz way longer than a kusurigama. Kazeshini is simply two double edged scythes joined by a chain.

This argument is ghey. 😬
