It's going to make Rukia a lesbian.

No, it will make her a f*g.

Hear me out before you dismiss it...

Rukia was stabbed. The gauntlet has an "r" on it. Pirates like to say "ARRRRR!" Pirates are on a ship, out at sea, for many months with only men aboard. Pirates are always in search of "booty" so they are stuck on a ship, full of men, in search booty. By the powers invested in me, I now pronounce you man on man......BUUUUTTSSEEEEX!

Told you: Rukia is not a f*g.

I'm still rather stuck on the confusion of the Tsukishima's power. If it's only memories he deals with then how the hell did the environment change during his fight with Byakuya?

Simple. Even the environment has memories. Tsukishima used Book of the End to make it believe it got cut later on instead of just recently so he can lure Byakuya into a trap.

Inanimate objects have memories?

Rather, it would be more proper to say that they have a past that he can edit.

Though objects having a memory that can be read isn't a rare idea in fiction. There's a character in Battle Angel Alita with the power, and a clan of people in Star Wars (most famously Quinlan Vos). Dunno where the idea originally came from, though.

Kubo is taking a "shintoism"* approach to the world.

Everything has a soul. Even inanimate objects. If they have a soul, then they have memories and are "alive" on some level.

Therefore, he can cut them and manipulate their memories.

Shintoism is an indigenous Japanese belief. It comes in multiple flavors. I am referring to the "animism" aspects of those flavors of animism, of course.

I hope that helps explain why he can cut the memories of a concrete slab.

New Bleach chapter is out.

Spoiler:
I'm sick and tired of both Tsukishima and Byakuya constantly bragging. Oh and Byakuya saying that he enjoyed the battle doesn't make sense considering his style is to end battles quickly. I guess doing something out of character was the only way to counter Tsukishima's past altering powers. I do wonder if Riruka is trying to have a lesbian momment with Rukia

Here's this http://mangastream.com/read/bleach/26384063/21
Does Rukia actually look like a chick?

Ok, that was badass.

Spoiler:
'I know how to counter everything you can do.'

'Do you know how to counter me punching through your fvcking chest, b1tch?'

Ummm

Well if it works, why not? At least Tsukishima put up a good fight.

Sad that Tsukishima died though. Another victory for the Soul Society goons.

That fight ended in the stupidest way possible. If all it took was a punch to the chest why didn't he just lop his head off at the beggining and be done with it?

Cause that is for peasants like Kenpachi. Byakuya does not do such things.

This chapter was awesome. Go Byakuya!

It's strange how Riruka disappeared. It doesn't make any sense why she had to run away. She could've just kicked away the zanpakuto and kept Rukia in that plushie but she gets Rukia out of it instead and does whatever the heck made that scene at the end of the previous chapter. Did she go inside her or something?

Why do people still think Tsukishima has the power to manipulate the past? Last I checked, it was memories.

He said it was also the past he could change.

But if he can really change the past then wouldn't that mean he'd be affecting more than just one person when he cuts 'em? Wouldn't Ichigo automatically believe the same thing Orihime did when she had memories of Tsukishima being the one saving Rukia and defeating Aizen?

Hence why I called bullshit.

Though you'll notice that Tsukishima inserted himself into Byakuyas past and remembered training with him a bunch of times.

It's Bleach. 😐

That said, I'd have no problem believing he could screw with memories if it weren't for the fact that he did that environment thing. Only way to justify that is saying the place has memories...which doesn't make much sense.

I'm confused why Byakuya didn't think of him as friend.
