Does anyone else get the impression that the only reason anyone of rank dies is because they were left to die?

Aside from Kaien, I can't think of anyone of rank who has died. I mean, Yumichika was gonna let Ikkaku die I guess but that's it.

Gin was a good guy. It was only the fact that Aizen was saved by Kubo. Gin defended his position for killing the 3rd seat (right after he graduated): the guy was trash.

Favorite Bleach arc? Why?

Rescue arc.

Because Ichigo was continuing his growth and development. His rescue of Rukia was mildly romantic. His growth AFTER mastering bankai was so ****in' badass that it ranks in my top 10 "anime/manga" badassery moments. When he took out all the lieutenants with just martial arts like it ain't no thang...soooo...awesome! Then when he stopped the sokyoku like a pimp.

His fight with Kenpachi and Renji were really awesome, too. His growth with his Zanpakuto was great, a well. Then when he was slowly bringing out his hollow form against Kuchiki...that was great.

Plus, his comrades MEANT something. They were strong and badass: taking on ranked officers like they were nothing. Everyone felt powerful. ****, Ishida took on Mayuri and WON! They meant something, then. I am okay with Ichigo getting super strong and powerful but the others should have grown with him. Sure, not as strong as Ichigo, but strong enough to show just as much growth. The power growth was just too steep, imo.

I don't even know why you asked this question. Of course its the Rescue Rukia arc.

It's about time one shows up! Now i've read the first 3 mangas, and i think my favorite guy is Quincy Archer.

How far are you into Bleach. I ask because if your favourite character is Ishida, get ready for some disappointment once he ceases to be relevent at all.

The Rescue Rukia arc is obviously the best arc in the series, to the point where it's not even a fair comparison.

I agree. But, people have different tastes. I've seen people who like arcs more than Rescue Rukia. Dunno why but they did.
