Chap is out.

Spoiler:
Pesche shows up, yay.

Sasikibe was apparently a fawking boss, getting bankai before Shinsui AND Ukitake. Gotta love that informed ability. Yamamoto looks like a sad puppy. 🙁

Ishida is being a prick. Ichigo and co plan to go to Hueco Mundo for another adventure! Urahara makes a cameo, since they need to use his door and shit.

Spoiler:
Hey, Soul Society! Here's a recommendation- if you have someone who has bankai for several thousand years but doesn't use it because he doesn't want to be promoted, make it so that having bankai isn't auto-promotion!

We've now got two people not mastering their strongest abilities for this reason, after all.

Spoiler:
So I guess the reason he got owned was because he'd never actually used his Bankai before. Pretty dumb dude.
Spoiler:
Let's remember... he did get pwned in HtH by Ichigo in the SS arc. So maybe even having bankai, he never got all that strong due to avoiding combat or something.
Spoiler:
Yes, it seems like Kubo's trying to make the villains artificially powerful by retconning Sasikibe to be powerful and having Bankai, even though we already know he sucks from the pwnage Ichigo gave him barehanded.

'Cause I'm not sure if Ichigo could've pulled that off against Renji, let alone one of the Captains.

Now he's retconning Sasakibe into some incredible badass who has known Bankai longer than ****ing Shunsui and Ukitake? 😬

And you're right Kubo, we certainly can't understand the pain Yamamoto is feeling right now, because you've never given us a reason to give a shit about Sasakibe!

It's a shame too, because he had one of the more interesting designs and shikais (Being predominately Western rather than Eastern) of the Shinigami.

In some of the side stuff, it comes up that he introduced Western tea to the Soul Reapers and holds tea-related activities in 1st company.

Yeah I know, and he often debates Yamamoto concerning the merits of Western culture, which Sasakibe obviously is a fan of.

Too bad none of this makes it into the manga.

Isn't he also the guy who writes in between chapters in the manga?

No, that's the third seat medic.

The sidestuff really was fun, and got our hopes up for the main series.

I thought Yamamoto looked like a sad old puppy. It was kinda sad.

Soo..now that Sasakibe has been rectonned to have a bankai, which already doesn't make sense, now makes even less sense that SS would let such a valuable asset die and do nothing about it.

I also feel like smacking the shit out of Uryu again 🙁

Shunsui and Ukitake are such noobs. 313

Yet Ukitake was the one that got patched up after being impaled 😐

Well looks like I was correct about Hallibel being in control of Hueco Mundo after all and being terrible at it.

Hand<Big Fawking Arrow.

BECAUSE AS WE KNOW CHEST WOUNDS IN BLEACH ARE CONSISTENTLY FATAL.

Sasikibe: Yeah I have Bankai. I just don't use it in front of people cause stuff.

But it doesn't even make sense for him to have one. On top of that, Yamamoto's all sad about burning him even though they have a chick who can get away with flipping off God on speed dial. This makes no sense.

I'm with you there, wakkawakkawakka. it really doesn't make too much sense for the guy to have a bankai. cause if he got it before Ukitake and Shunsui, then that suggests a lot of damn talent and skill right there to get it before them, but he got smacked down pretty easily in the SS arc by Ichigo and it looked like the new villains didn't have too much trouble killing him.

and I wouldn't say that Hallibel is a bad ruler; she just got blindsided by the new villains, though I mainly think this due to me liking to usually give people a benefit of a doubt.
