Not giving something enough time is just as bad as taking too long. Imagine if Oda had killed off Ace and Whitebeard in the same chapter and this would be the equivalent.

Those statements are meant to be in context with the actual Bleach Chapters, not in general. So, the complaint is invalid for the current arc. The pacing is decent. A whole hell of a lot better than 2 arcs ago.

The problem with a story that features a weekly chapter release is that you can't structure it as a regular story due to that the story isn't experienced continuously.

So to keep it interesting I think it's more difficult to add to much than to add to little. It's first when it becomes a cluster-**** that it becomes too much.

That said, Kubo even specified that he had a lot of material to go through this arc. With all the backstories and unrevealed abilities, and even worried that he wouldn't fit all of them in. That's why I think he's rushing it.

I really would have preferred if Kubo had shown us who the **** it was who'd freed Ichigo, first. Unless I'm missing something, wasn't there a mysterious "a new challenger appears??" who freed him and confronted whatshisface?

Word is that it was Akon, who then died.

I thought it was Aizen getting free though.

Yeah it was Akon. The beginning was kinda just stuck in there and it confused me.

Looks like Ichigo is going into "super mode" where he "ascends" to a level beyond super saiyan like he did against Cell...I mean Aizen.

I always wondered why Ichigo did not just "ascend" a long time ago. He doesn't have to use the FGT: his "ascended" mode should be more than any Shinigami or Quincy can handle. Well...maybe. Ichigo does seem to have lost his hollow powers so his "ascended" mode is probably not nearly as powerful.

But that outfit looks different...as does his Zanpakutou. I'm almost positive that this is a new mode for Ichigo.

Let's not forget that time passes more slowly in the realm between worlds: Ichigo may have trained for quite some time in his cage. I could be wrong. Maybe I am missing something.

I really don't give a shit. Reitsu reappearing isn't noticable if you never thought it disappeared. His clothes are all busted up. His zanpakutos hilt is the same and we never get a good look at the blade. Nothing indicates a new form.

All I got out this chapter was Ichigo posing and Byakuya being alive for some reason. Oh and didn't Omeada get stabbed last chapter? cause he's alive and well here.
