I thought he had his full-bring powers because his mother was attacked (just did not know how to use it), and he got his Hollow powers due to the training.

Of course, now he's a Quincy too, in Shinigami form. Maybe he's like Bach. mmm

Sure!

Ichigo Kurosaki: As a young man in Japan, Ichigo has an insatiable dream to become King of the Pirates. At a young age he ate a fruit that gave him superpowers so he has set forth on his journey.

Rukia Kuchiki: Oppressed by her father for years, Rukia has quite a low self esteem. With Ichigo's encouragement though, she resolves to become the strongest ninja she can be.

Yasutora Sado: A third rate boxer down on his luck and desperately wanting the attention of a shy lady in a pet store(the parakeets like him). He gets his chance when he is offered the chance to fight the world champ in the ring.

Orihime Inoue: Part of a rebellion known as AVALANCHE against an evil corporation, Orihime fights with strong hand to hand abilities. Her only goal is to stop the corporation before it zaps the planet dry of it's power. Secretly has a crush on a guy with weird hair and a big sword. Also a good bartender.

Uryu Ishida: His home country has been split into several districts and the evil government that runs it holds a contest that has children slaughtering each other in horrific games for the lulz. One day his sister gets chosen to get slaughtered but he volunteers in her place, attempting to be the last one standing.

It's a diverse story.

Idk, I guess it's just been so typical that Ichigo's always deemed "tZHE ONLY guiy thAt CAN SAVE uos!" despite being surrounded by stronger characters with the same trump card that he essentially has (I.e. "HEZ TEH ONLY WON TO HAS"NT SEEN AIZENZ ABILITIEZ!.... y'know except for the other multiples of characters that haven't seen it, not to mention the fact that he didn't even use that power for the vast majority of the fight but whatever) it doesn't come off as surprising to me at all. Nor does him ass pulling Quincy abilities (why I chuckled when someone mentioned it odd him not showing any bount abilities hehe).

I don't get it.

Confirmed: Ichigo is part Quincy because his mom was a Quincy.

Explains why Isshin was kicked out of SS.

Chapter was okay. Really nothing more to say than that.

It was still pretty shitty and chock full of bullshit like Kubo's weakass attempt to be ~Mysterious~ and Bach having to leave so Ichigo can have a training arc. But at least we got to see Ichigo getting owned again. That brightened my day a bit. C:

I don't mind. There really is no other way for it to go without Bach kidnapping Ichigo(which admittedly would have been kinda interesting). Half expected Isshin to show up to be honest.

She senses his ability and passes on her powers to aid him, and the rest is history.

Okay Bach is ichies grandpa, and wants to reeducate him. What was happening to Bach that he needed to go back already? And he said Aizen messed with him. So I wonder if Aizen did his hypnosis on Bach?

still, that Aizen would unintentionally save Ichigo just to apparently get Bach to retreat is a bit impressive. but yeah, Bach must be related to Ichigo somehow.
