I don't know if he could have. Bach left SS about 1000 years ago, and Aizen only started his manipulations a few hundred years ago if that.

Which begs the question of how Aizen was able to mess with his perceptions.

This chaps revelation was stupid but Ichigo getting owned and SS doing nothing about Bach leaving was a plus I supposed.

So any chance Ichigo's sisters will be super powered badasses in the future?

White Beanpole casually dismissing Ichigo was the highlight of the chapter. Other than that, meh chapter was meh.
Now Ichigo will have a one day training period with Ryūken who is his brother, and he'll unlock his Vollständig form which will allow him to fuse with Quincies using Letzt Stil, Arrancars using Resurrección, and he'll gain power levels over 9000! Or I guess he'll just strap his Zanpakuto onto a Quincy's head like before.

Unohana doesn't fight again, and we find out why- orders! I would rather hope that she's going to get a reveal about something odd about her to explain this, because really, supposedly one of the strongest captains and not used twice now.

Hm, suppose she could be one of the special war potentials...

Oh, I know. They could figure her healing-bankai is important enough that if it's stolen, they're in big trouble, so she was ordered out for protection (of course, she could always fight without bankai like, y'know, everyone else...).

She is not "supposedly" one of the strongest captains and that's canon. She is one of the strongest second only to Yamamoto. Aizen doesn't count.

It took year but this chapter has given me the strength to drop bleach.

It's funny that this tweet came so early considering how the magazine isn't released in Japan yet.

But I agree, this was the worst Bleach chapter in a long time.

No it isn't lol. This chapter is not worse than the one where Byakuya gave Ichigo his last request and literally nothing else happened.

That chapter didn't make me feel ill when reading it. This chapter was just bad. So once again nobody anyone cares for dies and Ichigo forgets to turn off his bankai.

Also the reasoning behind Unohana staying behind sucks all kinds of balls because we aren't given any reasoning as to why Yamamoto would do something like that...and that still doesn't excuse her for just chilling the whole time. Damnit Kubo 😐

i love (and by love i mean hate) the reasoning behind Uno not helping... "Yama told me not to".

chances are he probably just didn't want Unohana and her squad get caught in the crossfire and die. if that had happened, then Soul Society would have been truly screwed as any survivors wouldn't be able to get healed up. still kind of a lame excuse though.
