The Official BLEACH series Thread

Started by ThorinWoofer524 pages

This chapter was a 4 on a scale of 10.

Some things I didn't like, or would like more explanation on.

1. Yamamoto's body not found (supposedly from Bach blowing it up), I think his body might have been stolen, maybe made to be a zombie uber quincy?
2. Why is Ichigo still in bankai when his sword was broken? Shouldn't he have gone back to normal Soul Reaper attire?
3. What is Mayuri doing to Tenga Zangetsu? (Repair, maybe)
4. Should have just killed off Byakuya, and Kenpachi, I love them both, but come on, the only deaths are going to be faceless Soul Reapers who aren't apart of the main story.
5. That coma crap better at least awaken Kenpachi's relationship with his sword, and give him his bankai (which is redundant, because the uber quincies are stealing them).

Does Bach still have Yama's bankai, or did his Zanpakuto spirit die when he died?

chances are he probably just didn't want Unohana and her squad get caught in the crossfire and die. if that had happened, then Soul Society would have been truly screwed as any survivors wouldn't be able to get healed up. still kind of a lame excuse though.

But Unohana didn't really have to be on the front lines to lead. She could've still gave orders to her squad or at least sent Isane to lead squad 4 in her stead. And it's not like the VR were going for the healers off the bat.

Oh and what ever happened to the Zero squad showing up. What that just random speculation on Bach's part?

And the bankai of a deceased shinigami can still be contained as in the case of the Sasaki Koujiro dude.

I don't know, maybe?

But didn't Kaname take the sword from his dead friend and use it?

Also the reasoning behind Unohana staying behind sucks all kinds of balls because we aren't given any reasoning as to why Yamamoto would do something like that...and that still doesn't excuse her for just chilling the whole time. Damnit Kubo 😐

I thought the reason was given but alas, I was wrong.

The reason, I assume, was to have as many support personnel on hand to heal the injured. Had they gone out and fought, they would have been massacred just as easily. That would have increased the number of casualties and reduced Soul Societies ability to heal the hurt.

Basically, it is like this:

1. Less Squad 4 personnel.
2. Less of Squad 4 to be able to assist in healing the injured.
3. Less injured healed means more dead.
4. Add in #3 with the fact that many squad 4 personnel would have died, as well, especially since they are generally the squad of the lowest battle power.
5. Conclusion: far more people would have died had squad 4 gone out to help than the number of Shinigami that died as a result of Squad 4 staying behind.

This is not a new idea that I am presenting. This is the typical approach by modern militaries to combat. Your medical squads and platoons are usually not deployed to direct combat so they can tend the injured.

Kubo is not dumb for writing that into Bleach. It shows he may know a thing or two about real-world military strategy. If the Quincy were really interested in decimating the Shinigami, they would have destroyed Squad 4, first, before attacking the rest of SS. They didn't. That shows they lack at least some military strategy OR that was not the real goal.

At no point has it been shown that breaking the bankai of someone reverts them from their bankai form...especially for Ichigo.

I also think you guys missed some gold from this last chapter:

5th panel made me lol.

Also...why the hell does that dude call Ichigo Kurosaki-sama?

He's just a middle-class highschool teen from a smallish town.

The dialogue there is like, completely different from the version of it I read, lol.

That is funnier though.

You're right it was smart for Squad 4 to not be on the battlefield. What irritates me about Unohana is that she didn't even heal anyone until the war was over. Heck she's not even healing people right now but sulking instead. Not only did she not heal but she didn't even bother giving he squad any direction: not that it would be difficult for Squad 4 members to heal the injured after the fact but some leadership would've definitely helped her case.

The worst thing is probably that Bleach will get a good rating for this week because of all the Byakuya fans.

I really, really want to see Yachiru have to be acting Captain while Kenpachi's in that coma.

It will be glorious.

Actually.......................................................that wouldn't be a bad choice. It is hinted that she is far more intelligent and "observational" that her child-like personality lets on. She's also strong enough to significantly outdo the likes of Baldy and Gayboy: they are afraid of her.

She is probably the strongest vice captain...if i were to guess. Abarai may be stronger since his timeskip amp but maybe not by much. But Abarai and Blady were supposed to be around the same as each other in the beginning of the series.

Anyway, she's still not stronger than Hariy-Perver or Unohana: no doubt.

What if she's the Soul King? WHOOOPPPETTWWWEWWWWEE!

We've been over this. The spirit king isn't a person.

We've been over this, too:

That's interpretative. Aizen could be dehumanizing it by calling it a thing.

I guess that some people are just oblivious to the concept of foreshadowing.

I know, but you'll get better as time goes on. Just keep reading my posts in this sub-forum: you'll learn how to do it, eventually.

Did your brain just shut down? 😆 You can still see the tire-marks of this dumbassery.

This is exactly why I come back to this forum.

Er.... I was just thinking that she'd get the job since she's the vice-captain.

But yeah, that other stuff is....... really swell. Keep up the good work! 👆

No it isn't lol. This chapter is not worse than the one where Byakuya gave Ichigo his last request and literally nothing else happened.
What do you mean?! 20 pages of "Ichigo's here!" wank wasn't enough for you?!
