I do like the 'this is where people are' pages that Fairy Tail and One Piece and Boku No Hero Academia sometimes do.

I forget what Shinigami are supposed to be dead- well, in part because only the Captain General and his Vice Captain, and no-names, are gonna *stay* dead, regardless.

Kira is stronger than Kenpachi. Gets half his chest blown through and here he is taking on a dude that would have beaten Shunsui. He doesn't even seem worried in the slightest, just pissed.

Guess that means we know who the strongest Lieutenant is now.

This Kira reveal should be pretty cool but after everything that's happened in other Bleach fights I could care less.

Glad Kira is back. I have liked his character.

His Zan can potentially be one of the most powerful realistic swords out there (because swords like Aizen's and Ise's are a bit absurd and ridiculous).

There will eventually be a limit to how much strength a character has. If he just strikes them enough times, they won't be able to move.

i always thought the same about Kira's zanpakuto, and how absurdly haxx it would be in the hands of someone with more speed.

Though really, who can't win if their swords get opportunity to 'strike enough times'?

depends on the opponent.

Wabisuke would do well against someone with crazy regen who would otherwise just shrug off thousands of cuts. It would also do well against someone like Nnoitra who has very high durability.

Wonder how Kira would do against someone like Gremmy. Couldn't he just imagine himself to have a constant weight?

Hope something stupid like Nanao's "swords are scary" moment doesn't catch on this time.

Did you all forget that Suì-Fēng's ability didn't work on Aizen?

He had the most ridiculous power in the entire manga (more-so than Aizen or Boobie-chan) and he squandered it.

Note how Aizen is basically saying that he can nullify special powers with enough reiatsu.

He can likely counteract the weight too- and beside from that, Izusu would never get a chance to land many blows against someone that level.

As for Gremmy, he doesn't have to move to attack, he can keep thinking stuff even while being heavy in place.

Izusu's pretty great if someone is reliant on a weapon, will block a lot, but otherwise isn't that powerful, or someone who's like, pure defense and just likes to tank attacks until the attacker is exhausted, but generally, any shinigami should do well if they have a lot of attack opportunities.

Kira's sword is interesting to me. Despite its relatively plain but cool ability, it is like DDM said, one of the less absurd ones, and like marwash said, potentially a powerful one in the right hands. It's got a very cool theme as well.

But calling it hax when it is in a series with multiple people who can warp reality, control your senses, control you, disintegrate you if you get tagged by their sword, use invincible substances that kill anything they touch, counter anything you do if they understand it, etc., is stretching it a bit IMO.

There's characters that have regen or are very armored that he cannot harm but the power will help him win.

He just needs to be fast. That's the only thing he should train is overwhelming speed.

Point. And yea, he needs to get fast. And aim for techniques that do multiple hits!

New fight, new power. Fairly impressive one...

... though I remember that one of the two captains he's fighting has sense-altering powers.

This power is actually pretty neat. Then again so was Lille's and Pernida's before that.

Shinji? Yeah the could just avoid most of what Valkyrie's doing if they didn't always 1v1 everything.

Hit him with shikai, leave while he's confused.

Bambietta figured out how to beat the Shikai so this guy probably can as well.

I like the Sternritter a lot more than most but the big 4 are boring to watch.

Askin begs to differ.

But yeah, they're overpowered, and they were able to take out most of the Royal Guard.

Makes it even funnier that they're in the process of being defeated by the Gotei 13+Ichigo & co., and that their only major casualties during that have been Nemu, a clone, & Kenpachi, who Mayuri's gonna fix.

So Yoruichi got to do stuff this chapter. Yay?!
