Is every single chapter gonna end right as someone unleashes a new attack?

Also? There'd be more dramatic tension if we ever learned that these individuals were super-special-badass *before* the combat. Like, have the Soul Reapers not know, but have Quincies mention it to each other sooner.

Heart and Arm of the Soul King should've been stuff mentioned much earlier in the arc. *Foreshadowing*.

And yay, Yoruichi! (Plus some sexist jibber-jabber. Really, mangaka, we don't need to know your NPC's thoughts on how women should act.)

To give Kubo some credit, he rarely has gender come up in battle anyway. The implication is less "villains don't take ladies seriously" and more "Askin himself is mildly sexist." Careful line to walk without falling one way or the other.

Yea, it's the latter, it's just I always find myself taking villains who do that less seriously.

Indeed. Usually never comes up in Bleach though, which is nice. One Piece is a lot worse for stuff like that.

Ok, not a bad chapter, Yoruichi's brother is cute... but high misuse of the term 'lethal dose.'

And I do wonder if they're ever gonna show Yoruichi's bankai.

Does Yoruichi even remember she has a zanpakuto. Though now with the whole asauchi thing being around Yoruichi might be another special case.

It may be like Aizen's bankai, where it never comes up.

Or like the Kido corps, who don't use theirs in favor of their main ability.
