I think it was more the WAY they beat them. They made it look extremely easy and didn't even go shikai except for Kensei. I'm hard pressed to imagine any captain aside from Yama, Shunsui, Retsu, and Ukitake beating even Gillians with their zanpakto still sealed.

next week should be awesome. viazards kicking ass. aizen about to do something MAYBE. Or they could go back to the 0 espada fight scene

So I've been thinking it through. It looks to me that both shunsui and ukitake were holding back and apperantly were not really injured as when momo chan came and told him to quit playing already. I wonder when we are going to get to see thier bankai and against who? they are probably two of my favorite in bleach

That pissed me off. Their fight got interrupted before either could use their bankai. And it seems that Kyoraku's bankai isn't viewer friendly. I don't know if it's because it's too strong to guarantee anyone around him's safety or if it's repulsive.

Well on the IFC channel they do show Witchblade with less armor on.
