Three guesses as to why the term is known as "Emo" in the first place.
The stereotype emo, which is the context I am under the assumption we are using, is used to describe being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angst-ridden, does ANY of that sound like Stark to you?
Stark is a painfully lazy individual, he does not like to do anything, preferring to do nothing, and if he sees no point in doing something, he would rather just not do it. So he wanted to go home and sleep...Which is not associated with the stereotypical emo at all.
After Lily's pep talk though, he became more motivated to fight, Stark is not emo, to call him such is pure, un-adult rated ignorance.
