Oh... yeah... if they are right ! It will do a great movie ! Someone that just had a small glimpse of what some call "self-awareness", a devilish thing probably.... but then suddenly realized then his fear was more powerful than its self-awareness, and decided to return to safety in his church.

These are the reasons why:
1. On earth right now at this very moment are Christians being tortured and persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Not one of them isn't suffering in some way. So, therefore, I wonder what makes anyone think that they won't suffer either? Like we are better than them or something?
2. The Lord God protected and helped His chosen through all their trials and tribulations. Noah, for instance, wasn't taken out of the Earth when the flood came. Instead he was put into the ark and went THROUGH it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego weren't spared from the fire. They went THROUGH it and came out unharmed. The prophets were persecuted and martyred. Jesus Himself was persecuted and killed for our sins. The apostles, save I think John, were martyred. The early Church suffered great persecution under many leaders and very horribly under Nero.
3. Because of what the Bible says:
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Notice Jesus said that we shall have tribulation. He didn't say we wouldn't. He said we would.
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Who are the elect? Christians, Born again believers.
Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
II Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
There would be no reason for Jesus to warn the elect (or Christians) of coming great tribulation if we would not even be here in the first place.

Let me put it this way, "I am going to be raptured unlike all those other unworthy Christians. They really should be more holy like I am. After all, I know I'm good unlike those others."
Remember the parable of the pharisee and the tax collector (whoever)? The pharisee prayed just like that, "I give tithes and offerings and cummin. I am glad I am not like that sinner over there." However, the sinner beat his chest and wouldn't even lift his eyes off the ground but pleaded the Lord to have mercy on me a sinner.
#2 It is false because God does not play favorites, and it shows favoritism.
Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
II Chronicles 19:7 Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
God does not play favorites with His children. He isn't going to take some out of the world and leave others behind just because to us they are unworthy. By whose standards are they unworthy? By ours not God's.
If God took out only the "worthy" Christians then He would be playing favoritism.
3 Because many nowadays are preaching a lie that many do not realize what is happening to them.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Even now there are false Christs amongst us. Christ is the Anointed One and only He can give us the Anointing, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Notice also in these verses how the elect, if possible, shall be deceived. Remember that the elect are Christians. Why would Jesus have spoken such to us if we would not even be here?
The time is coming when people will say, Lo, here is Christ! This is the Messiah! Come let us worship him! Many will believe them and follow. Jesus warned us not to believe them. They are liars and deceivers.
Notice how it says that they will say, Behold, he is in the secret chambers. Nowadays many preachers and pastores lie. They say that Jesus is coming in secret to snatch worthy Christians away. That ZWOOP! we will be zipped away and the world will be left wondering what happened including all those unworthy Christians who aren't as holy as we are.
However, Jesus warned us NOT to believe them when they say that Behold, he is in the secret chambers. The next verse explains why. We have here a shout, the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God. By all means this is not going to be a sneak in sneak out secret event.
Every eye will see Him.
All the nations will mourn.

Further Jesus said He was coming again. It will be His SECOND Coming. He did not say He was coming again and then again. He is coming again. If Jesus came back today to rapture only the "worthy" Christians. Then they are in Heaven and la la la time passes. Then He comes back again. How many times has He come back? Not just once but twice. So, in this belief He comes FIRST to die for us and rise again. SECOND to pick up only the "worthy" Christians. THIRD to come back and reign. I think I see a problem with this picture.
4 Jesus is coming again at the LAST trump and at the END of the harvest.
First let's discuss the LAST trump.
I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Notice at the LAST trump the dead shall be raised. Let's compare this with another popular verse.
I Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Compare the two verses. In I Corinthians the LAST trump is sound and the dead are raised. In I Thessalonians the trump of God is sound and the dead in Christ are raised.
Therefore, it will occur at the LAST trump. Let's remember that last is at the END not at the beginning. There are 6 trumpets before the last one in Revelation. We do not meet Jesus at the FIRST trump but at the LAST trump.
So yes, we will meet Jesus. However, it is going to be at the LAST trump not the first.
