tthew 24:37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Notice Jesus tells of the time of Noah. They were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage. We do that nowadays. We eat and drink and people are married.

Then Noah entered the ark, and we Christians need to be in the Ark of Jesus.

Then the flood came, and they had no clue. Soon Jesus is coming, and just like they had no clue when the flood came so we will not know when His return will occur.

Then the next two verses. One says that two shall be in a field. One taken; the other left. Then two women. One taken; the other left.

Now remember before Jesus was talking about the ark, Noah's ark. Noah took his children and wife and animals into the ark. The others were not taken. They perished. We need to make sure we are in the ark called Christ Jesus.

This is NOT saying that "worthy" Christians will be raptured and the rest will be left behind including those "naughty and unworthy" Christians.

However, that the time is coming when Christians will be taken to Jesus and the ones left behind will be the ones that perish forever.

Remember that Jesus already discussed the Great Tribulation before He said this and that He has already discussed sending the angels to pick up His elect, His children. So He is saying, Make sure you are in the Ark. The lost will not be in the Ark. They will be left behind. However, those in the Ark will be saved. So keep your eyes on the watch because I the Lord am coming, and you do not know when.

Remember, again, Noah and his family were the saved in the ark. The wicked perished they were left behind. Just so is coming a time when the Christians who are in the Ark called Jesus will be saved and the lost will be left behind.

Remember in Matthew 13 at the end of the harvest the tares (wicked) are burned. Remember also in the same chapter that at the end of the world the angels gather all that offend and commit iniquity and they are burned in a furnance of fire.
Just like in Noah's time the people in the ark were saved and those who were left behind, who were left out of the ark, who were not taken up in the safety of it, perished by water. Therefore, so will the unrepentant perish by fire.

II Peter 1:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Notice also in this verse it talks about a great noise. Again proof that it will not be a quiet Second Coming like the liars and false deceivers preach.

Further at the end the earth will fry and all the works therein.

I Thessalonians 5:1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Notice the Lord comes like a thief in the night in verse 2. Then in verse three it says sudden destruction. A thief in the night can mean coming in secret. However, as we have seen that is NOT what is meant by it in Jesus' case. Instead His Second Coming will be what another meaning of thief in the night. That is by surprise, unawares.
Also take note that there will be those who will say Peace and safety. However, they are liars cause soon destruction will come. Like wise liars out there say that, "Peace and safety to you because you will be raptured before the Great Tribulation!" However, as we have seen Jesus and the whole Bible says the opposite.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Those who will be overtaken by that day (The Second Coming of Christ) will be overtaken. However, those who are in the light will not be. They will be prepared.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Let us be continually children of the light and of the day. Not of the night or darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

We need to be awake and alert and keep watch and be sober. Not drunk and not asleep. We need to be prepared.

7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Remember the sleep sleep in the night and the drunk get drunk in the. Nevertheless, we are not of the night nor the dark but of the light and the day.

8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Let's be sober, viligant, keeping constant watch, having faith and love, and the hope of salvation.

9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Why because God has not appointed us to wrath but to salvation.

10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

We will be with Jesus whether alive or dead

Now some might say, God has not appointed us to wrath. The Great Tribulation is His wrath. Therefore, we will not be here.

The Great Tribulation isn't God's wrath on the wicked. Christians from the very beginning have gone through tribulation after tribulation after tribulation, but it was not the wrath of God. The wrath of God we are spared from is from being thrown into the Lake of Fire. THAT we are spared.

Further notice what Jesus says in Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Then again in Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Notice that those who endure unto the end will be saved.

Also notice that Jesus said, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake". All means all. We will be here and every nation will hate us. Every nation INCLUDES America.

Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake
# 5 Also the Bible makes it clear that the godly in Christ WILL suffer persecution.

II Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

It says it right there. ALL that will LIVE GODLY in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution. It does not say. Some who live godly in Christ Jesus might suffer persecution. It does not say All those "unworthy" Christians will be left behind and suffer persecution. No. It says that ALL that will LIVE GODLY in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution.

So we ARE going to be here through the Great Tribulation. No one is going to be raptured out before then. It is not Scriptural at all. Whoever preaches that Christians won't be here through the Great Tribulation is a liar, false, and a deceiver.
The only ones who will NOT go through the Great Tribulation are those who die beforehand.

Of course some will say, What about Jesus asking us to pray we are worthy to escape all these things and stand before Him? That means we will not be here cause we pray we are worthy to escape the Great Tribulation.

Let's take a look at that.

Luke 21: 1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

3And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

4For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

5And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

6As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

7And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

8And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

9But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
