If God created the universe, who created God?

Started by finti11 pages

yes. without imagination the universe would have been pretty boring.
I see what I see looking up to the universe and what I see aint boring at all, it is rather interesting and there is no imagination to what I can see

Nobody created God - nothing can be created - God is just a thought in the minds of many unimaginative humans
just as philosophy then

Yes, as I said - your imagination makes the universe look interesting. Why do you think the universe doesn't look interesting to other creatures also? Because they don't have imagination.

The formula is: I = im.im

Interestingness results from imagination multiplied to its own power.

as I said dont have ot imagine what I can see

you dont know how other creatures see the universe you only assume

So you are completely without imagination finti? 😂

So you are completely without imagination finti?
you imagine the stuff you cant see or achive, someone acccept it for what that is others dive between reality and imagine themselves to be something they aint

How do you know how much of experience is imagination and how much isn't?

How do you know how much of experience is imagination and how much isn't?
because I can differ between the real world and la la land

And how do you know that? Also, without imaginative people, we would not have had the amazing inventions like the wheel, light bulb, phone, computer, etc. It takes real imagination to invent something original and life-changing.

of course you need imaginary or inventive people now and then, doesnt mean everybody has to go around in a daze though.
And how I know the diffrence between reality and la la land?......well to put it simple if you cant differ between that you really need to seek profesional help.

Now imagine you cut your hand and then cut it for real.............try that and then comeback and tell me if there was a diffrence between those two experiences or not

That proofs nothing - cutting one's hand!? Anyway, I'm going for a smoke break outside quickly....do you smoke too? We are not allowed to smoke in buildings here.

No I do not smoke , never have never will, and the experience with cutting your hand for real and imagine it does proof the difference between reality and imagination, if you think differently then try it

That is a good question.

Here are two answers.

1) If God was created, He would cease to be God, cease to be Creator and would be a Creation.

2) God created time. God exists out of time and out of space unlike we humans who exist in time and space. Time and space does not affect God, so God has no beginning cause time and space (or matter) does not affect Him.

There was no creation.

I think we just materialized here. 🍺

There is no beginning. Where is the beginning of a circle?

I think the real question is this: Does God ever have to have been created? I don't believe so. The only reason we even think about who "created" God is because we live in a world where everything was created. God is not man. We constantly reduce God to our tiny box of human abilities and believe that because something is true of humans, it must be true of God too. Since He created everything in the universe, that means that he created time too. And how could He ever be subject to something that He created? Is it not possible that God was just always there?

You are right as far as God was never created. But take it one step further, there is no point of creation because the universe is God (or at least part of God).

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean.

God is not outside of the universe. The universe is inside of God. The universe, everything seen and unseen is God.
