This thread, it gives me a headache. If Bats and Namor just meet and duke it out, Bats goes down fast. The way DC writes Bats, with a week of prep, Namor doesn't stand a chance. Namor beats out Bats in every category except intelligence and maybe fighting skill. But with prep, Bats is written like a god.

i like batman and i like namor.. but you have to look at the match up...
namor to me is victor in this match...
unless batman goes and gets his friends to help him win (superman, green lantren) but then that wouldnt be batman vs namor..

Even the Namor guy admitted Batman would win with prep. I'm not really a Batman "fanboy". I like other heroes just as much, including Spiderman, probably the best all around character ever. But Batman with prep is very difficult to beat. I'm afraid some who post here don't seem to know much about him other than what they know from "Superfriends" and the old campy TV show. Thus the "anti-Shark repellant" comments et al.
That post was not aimed at you directly, or even at this thread. I just think Batman is sometimes underestimated by some people, and I wonder if sometimes it is because they might not have all the facts. Any offense was entirely unintentional I assure you.
