What the heck can the motherbox do? Saying it's the DC version of this doesn't mean much. Sentry is the Marvel version of Superman, and it can be speculated that Sentry is more powerful.

Mother Boxes can access the Energy of the Source for various effects, including changing the gravitational constant of an area, transfer energy from one place to another, control the mental state of a host, communicate telepathically with a host or other life form, manipulate the life-force of a host to sustain it past fatal injuries, open or close boom-tubes, take over and control non-sentient machines, evolve non-sentient machines, merge sentient beings into a single more powerful being, sustain a life form in a hostile environment such as space, and many others. Mother Boxes have an affinity for the Source and are believed to draw their power from it.

They are known to be a database of information; seemingly omniscient
They can be used for detection and monitoring
They can manipulate and direct energy
They can alter gravity
They can form Boom Tubes
They can heal their host or others as well as protect them in hostile environments
Control the mental state of a host
Communicate telepathically
Take over and control non-sentient machines, including the ability to evolve non-sentient machines
Merge sentient beings into a single more powerful being

That's what a motherbox can do, and Batman has one. (This is from DC's database)

That's not even near the Ultimate Nullifier, but okay. If Batman was able to get to it before Namor tore out his spinal column, then okay.

You fail to realize that the motherbox could aid Batman in his week of preparation.

When was the last time you saw Namor using Mach speeds during his fights? When Namor enters a fight he just goes to brawl with them. Say that during their encounter, Namor runs at Batman looking to punch him, all Batman would have to do is throw a freeze capsule at him and then throw an exploding batarang to finish him

😂

First of all, Namor could easily dodge the freeze capsule. He's faster then Batman.

I doubt that Batman will throw it with the speed of sound. Namor dodges attacks moving with that speed easily.

Second of all---exploding batarang?! Yeah...a man who can take a full hit from Mjolnir and stand right up is going to be taken by exploding Batarang....😆

Whoa, why doesn't Batman use that a lot more?

Ultimate Nulllifier still made Galactus flee in fear...and Richards didn't even use it at him. The very mention made Galactus piss in his pants.

Whoa, why doesn't Batman use that a lot more?

Because if Batman used all of the technology he theoretically has available to him, it would unbalance the character.

That's why threads like these are so hard to answer. With a week's prep time, there's no specific reason why Batman couldn't call Superman on his cell phone, ask to borrow the Phantom Zone transmission devise, and then, when the fight rolled around, use it to take out Namor before Namor even realized Batman was holding a weapon. Absolutely no reason he couldn't do that; but he virtually never actually does do things like that, and when he does, it's almost exclusively in JLA or a crossover comic.

^ Yeah, what he said. 😄

Well, if that's your argument then Namor could borrow the nullifier from Richards or just to balance things out, the kimoyo card from Black Panther...

Everything may be argued both ways but when it comes to power and abilities it's res ipsa loquitur...

With a week's prep:

Batman, through his network of intelligence, finds out that in exactly one week Namor plans on attacking Gotham and wreaking havoc. Batman spends the next few hours deducting where Namor will make landfall, yawns and goes to bed. This is Sunday.

On Monday he handles the Joker. Tuesday it's Bane. Wednesday, Poison Ivy, Thursday Clayface, Friday the Riddler. On Saturday he prepares for Namor.

Namor makes landfall exactly where Bats thought he would. Batman goads him into an abandoned warehouse. Namor utters some of his arrogant rants, then follows. Batman is nowhere to be found. Suddenly, there is an intense flash of light that both stuns and blinds Namor. Batman has thrown a flash bomb. Then a high pierced, shrieking noise that brings Namor to his knees, stunning him even further. A sonic grenade. Namor, his senses rocked, is defenseless. A dozen plastique bombs are fired near Namor from a remote part of the warehouse, set on a twenty second timer that nearly brings the warehouse down. Before they detonate Bats flies through the window on the jet pack he has stashed there to safety. If Namor is still alive, Bats fires a heat seeking missile at him from the Batmobile.

On Monday Batman handles Two Face.

Doesn't work, Namor has a radar sense. He can easily operate blind.

Please. This is Namor we are talking about. A man with pain tolerance to take three days of constant torturing and still kick the asses of his enemies. A man with willpower that DOCTOR DOOM fears. A guy who has taken a miniature nuke straight in face and didn't suffer from lasting injuries. And a sonic granade would stun him and render him defenseless? Sorry, but no.

Now you say that a collapsing warehouse would take him down? When he has taken full shots from Mjolnir, straight in the face and didn't even break any bones. When he has dropped from space with Mach speed and got right back up like nothing happened. Collapsing warehouse at beast is going to perhaps make him a bit annoyed.

And if he wanted, he could grab the missile and throw it back to Batmobile.

But he might as well clap his hands and cause a sonic boom which takes out the missile before it even reaches him.

Do NOT underestimate Namor.

Not to mention a motherbox has also remade the universe before.
It is technology linked directly to The Source.

And one of Namor's main weaknesses is technology.

In a week of preptime, Batman will have absolutely zero problem with Namor, every bit of resistance would be accounted for and have countermeasures already in actment. Batman is probably the most precise character in comics. Hell, he came up with a plan to hold off Superman for a while in as long as it took for him to get to Metropolis from Gotham. With access to New God tech/Waynetech/Lexcorp Tech, and JLA watchtower items, he can come with pretty much anything imaginable. Namor could find himself squaring off with a couple of the Superman androids and get demolished.

If all else fails with a weeks prep Batman simply comes up with a device that fries all the moisture out of Namor's body, rendering him practically useless. I just don't see how with a week's prep that Batman is not going to take Namor out.

Yes, Batman with prep would win. But not in the way you said.

What? How so?

He is the ruler of probably number #2 or #3 most technogally advanced nation in the entire world...

Dude he doesn't even carry a cell phone.

What person/fish doean't carry a cell phone?

your avatar reminds me of this page everytime I look at it.

Batman has an "anti-Namor" capsule in his utility belt.....so Batman wins

lmfao!!

Fanboy says: "BatMan wins this 11/10 of the time. He can beat two Namors at the same time. He beat Superman, has the motherbox, beat the whole JLA, and wonderwoman has a crush on him, and eh, ah, he can beat Darkseid, and the list goes on..."
