So Obi wins by the skin of his teeth.

Round Two.

Trapped by some forgotten ancient Sith lord in a tomb of challenges and nightmares, the five remaining players must figure their way out. Last one to reach the exit is at a loss, for they will be sealed in.

The tomb contains five chambers: In the first, the player must ascend by a series of trecherous leaps and bounds, as well as some dangerous climbs in order to reach the portal to the next chamber. If you're having trouble imagining how ugly this room could be, go rent yourself Castlevania 64 and play any level.

The second chamber is much simpler: Players must swim through a narrow tunnel while fending off bloodthirsty creatures about the size of your household barricuda. The numbers of the creatures won't be overbearing, but enough to make swimming dangerous. This tunnel is filled with water to the point where the individual can barely put their head above for a breath of air (Or in Yoda's case, head and shoulders.)

The third chamber is a straight drop into a circular pit. They must now defeat the shade of two rather average sith warriors armed with lightsabers.

The fourth chamber is a puzzle: the players must read the heiroglyphs on the walls to find out the singular word that will open the next chamber. The puzzle itself is obviously a life story of the ancient sith lord, and the password is of course the name of his former apprentice, who betrayed him and was sentenced to this tomb with no escape except for his own name.

And the fifth chamber is bare save for a vicious rancor that is much larger and older than anything seen in movies or games. A pet of the Sith lord, the players are warned to pass this creature without killing it.

And if it helps any, imagine that each participant is locked in their own version of the tomb, so they have no direct contact with one another.

(If this is too vague or sketchy in any way, suggestions via PM are welcome. I've had four calls during this post... I swear...)

Edit: In the puzzle room, the sith apprentice's name is implied but never written in words, obviously.

In the first chamber, I see those with the most agility finding no problem. Thereby Exar Kun will have no problem, Yoda will have no problem, and likely Revan will have no problem. The question then becomes just how agile Mace and Obi-Wan are. Mace in the Clone Wars and Shatterpoint displays he is in tip-top physical shape, so I believe he will have little to no problem getting to the top.

The order after room 1, under my hypothesis is:

1) Exar
2) Yoda
3) Revan
4) Mace
5) Obi-Wan

In room 2: The water is simpler, prior to dropping into the water, the Sith can simply pump the water full of lightning, this would neutralize the fish and find their way across. We know Exar has ridiculously powerful Sith powers, he retains his lead. Obi-Wan, as seen in episode 1, is a decent swimmer. Yoda will have some problems simply because of his size. It would be more difficult for him to go through the water.

The order after room 2, in my opinion:

1) Exar
2) Revan
3a) Yoda
3b) Mace
5) Obi-Wan.

In room 3: Obi-Wan will struggle. He's rarely, if ever, gotten into a fight with two lightsaber wielders, and he is the least proficient of the bunch with a lightsaber. Exar and Revan has been swarmed with far greater odds and have emerged unscathed. I expect Exar to breeze through this room, he has singlehandedly fought two average force users with ease, and kills them like its his job. Revan, with his tactical and precise warfare, will follow suit. Yoda is quick and aggressive with form four, he's so fast he could likely take out one. Mace, with shatterpoint and Vaapad has the ability to take out both of them, but I see him being a bit slower than Yoda. And of course, Obi-Wan will struggle, and fall significantly behind.

1) Exar Kun - By a significant margin over the rest
2) Revan - by a significant margin over 3
3) Yoda - by a smaller margin over 4
4) Mace - by a large margin over 5
5) Obi-Wan - lagging behind.

In room 4: Obi-Wan will find this room more up his alley, as will Revan. The two of them possess the guile and tactical mind necessary to discern the password. Exar will lose his lead, but he has raided Sith artifacts before, and is no stranger to this kind of situation. His lead will diminish, but I still see him having a minor lead in first position. Yoda will likely take some time to sense the room initially, but I see him coming out of it rather quick. Mace will have some trouble, and will fall towards the end, you can't aggressively negotiate this room.

1) Exar - by a small margin
2) Revan - by a decent margin
3) Yoda - by a decent margin
4) Mace - by a small margin
5) Obi-Wan

In room 5: Obi-Wan has seen his share of creatures and can deal with thim. He should find this room rather easy. His first intention is of course, to slip by instead of fighting it, so he will have no trouble. Yoda will also have very little trouble, his small stature and connection to the force will let him walk through. Revan has the patience and the mind for it, while Exar will likely be more brash. Mace may be in the same boat as Exar.

So after the 5th and final room, I see the order as:

1) Revan - by a small margin
2) Exar Kun - by a small margin
3) Yoda - by a decent margin
4) Obi-Wan - by a small margin
5) Mace

So I have to vote to kick off Mace, as the last couple challenges doesn't suit him well.

Obi-Wan, the lucky bastard that he is, has barely staved off elimination for the second time in my book.

Man...whew this a tuff one.

Ok here is goes...

Obi-Wan: Obi-Wan should have no problem with the first chamber seeing as all Jedi are adept ad manuvering around and leaping incredible heights. The second chamber would be a challange but I think Obi-Wan could handle it. Now for third chamber I think Obi can use his smarts to out think the two shade warriors. The forth chamber is going to be the problem I mean just how much does Obi know about ancient Sith? Sure he is smart, but what's to say he can even read the heiroglyphs? Assuming Obi makes it through the foruth chamber (which I doubt) I think he could outsmart the Rankor easily enough, I mean Obi is pretty smart.

Yoda: First chamber? Peice of cake for the little dude, I can just imagine him leaping all over the place. Second chamber might be somewhat tough seeing as I don't think Yoda can swim that fast but I think he could make it. The third chamber? Another peice of cake, Yoda will be all over the Sith warriors in seconds. Fourth Chamber is gonna be tricky, but Yoda due to his 800-900 years of knowledge should be able to figure out the gylphs. Fifth chamber? The third peice of cake, Yoda being as small as he is will sneak right past the rankor.

Mace Windu: First Chamber? Like Yoda a piece of cake. Second Chamber might prove to be a challenge although I think Mace could make it since he is a survior type of guy to me. Third chamber? Mace will waste the Sith Warriors. Fourth Chamber? This one is the stumbling block, I mean like Obi does Mace even know much about the ancient Sith? Fifth Chamber? Shatterpoint should help him get the past the Rankor (assuming he even made it past the foruth chamber).

Revan: First Chamber? Well this depends on wether he is wearing his armor or not, because if he is I doubt he is gonna go leaping about. But if he removes his armor then he should be fine. Second Chamber? Revan is a survivor and IMO very capible of passing this test (as long as he is not wearing his armor) and remember Kreia being his Master must have tought him the holding breath power thing. Third Chamber? Revan wastes the shades. Forth Chamber? This is where, Revan's knowledge of the Sith comes in to play which allows him to IMO decipher the apprentice's name. Fifth Chamber? For the tactical genius of Revan this is a sinch.

Exar Kun: First Chamber? Easy as pie for Kun. Second Chamber? Once again easy for this athletic Sith Lord. Third Chamber? Kun wastes the Shades into Jawa burgers. Fourth Chamber? I don't know, I mean Kun never really struck me as being really bright, but then again he did study much of the Sith so he should be able to pass this test. Fifth Chamber? This one is a tuffy since Kun doesn't seem like one for subtly so I'm certain if he could pass this.

Whew! Thats all of them.

I don't think Exar is as bright as Revan, certainly, but he's brighter than most people give him credit for.

I don't know how much Shatterpoint will help Mace, I see Obi-Wan edging out Mace in the very last chamber, and since Obi-Wan does seem to possess more smarts, I see him making up time in the fourth chamber. Once again, the dude barely escapes with his coattails, how long can he survive?!

And unfortunately, we don't have Naga Sadow 🙁.

That means Naga can't jump up the ledges in seconds, turn the monsters into filet, dice up the "average" Sith warriors, decipher the message in no time, and cowardly sneak by the giant rancor.

Awww, that sucks Janus.

And oh, are you considering some carryover Janus? So people don't go from last to first simply because it doesn't suit them?

Heh. Thank you both for the input. But you both bring up very different points...

I never said the Sith writing was easy to read or even recognizable to someone who wasn't a Sith, but I will say this: they're heiroglyphs. Even Mace and Obi-Wan should be able to discern their meaning after awhile. But keep in mind this is a sizeable room with at least three walls filled- literally, it would take hours of persistence and mental agility. The only person I see flying through this relatively easy is Revan, and perhaps Yoda.

But anyways, Rayvann, you forgot to list the one to go.

Oops...ok I go with Mace.

Like I said, I think Exar is definitely underrated as far as his intellect goes, Revan will close the gap that Exar made in the first four chambers, but Exar won't be outdone so much that he'll lag behind. In my opinion, Exar will breeze through the first three rooms in two minutes and then be able to saunter his way past the last two rooms. The rancor will likely cause him more trouble than the hieroglyphs.

I assumed that the hieroglyphs were relatively intelligible regardless of Sith background or not, so I gave the nod to Yoda and Obi-Wan discerning them rather quickly.

You mean carry over in this round?

No I mean like the person who gets out of the second challenge the fastest gets a time advantage in the third challenge. i.e. if Exar gets to the pods first, he will start first by whatever margin he was leading by, etc. This is to prevent someone who barely slips be each round, or to prevent people from going from last to first in one round.

Sounds good, but that involves on settling on the placement for this round (whether by my judgment based on arguments provided or by popular vote, which I don't think will work well at all) And it won't be retroactive, since the first round was pretty vague and it is implied that all the players in round two are working against one another's time clock to avoid being the last one out.

Well, I listed out my placement, or what I believe will be the placement and in my opinion, Revan has the slight lead. Let's just have people instead of voting for the low man, give their entire 5 man order. And then after that, we can deliberate as to how much each individual leads by.

Fair enough. I agree.

++ For round two- List your five man order, from the fastest to proceed through the challenge to the slowest, and basically use Illustrious' posts as an example ++

1. Revan
2. Yoda
3. Obi-Wan(the lucky bastard)
4. Exar Kun

Last: Mace

Exar
Revan
Yoda
Obi-wan

So basically, I'm giving 5 points for first, 4 points for second, 3 points for third, 2 points for 4th, and 1 point for last.

Right now it stands

Revan: 13
Exar: 12
Yoda: 10
Obi-Wan: 7
Mace: 3

Mace seems to be the low man right now.
Mace:

I'm thinking myself (and this is perhaps because of how dangerous and evil I made this first room... and having beat Castlavania 64, both versions) this first room is gonna be rougher than you both make it. Yoda will likely have the greatest advantage here with his small size and agility, with Exar Kun and Mace trailing. The reason I delegate Revan and Obi-Wan a bit lower is because this trail demands both agility and skill to traverse trecherous jumps, but it also involves a lot of climbing and supporting one's weight, usually just by hand. Revan is of a slight frame build, and Obi-Wan just strikes me as not being as rough and tumble as Mace or Kun (who was huge). So naturally in that particular section they will lag. My first room line up looks like this:

1- Yoda
2- Exar Kun
3- Mace
4- Revan
5- Obi-Wan

The second trial is meant to be as annoying as it is deadly. But imagine trying to swim in tight confines while fending off critters and make headway, all the while coming up for breath when you need it. Yoda begins to lose his advantage here, since he must swim about two to three times as much to cross the same distance, although he can effectively swim more comfortably and has plenty of room to wag his short lightsaber at the offending fish. Exar Kun, with his bulkier size and double bladed saber, begins to feel the effects here. He slows down a bit, though he can compensate with it through sheer force power, attacking the fish through the force. His real obstacle is his size. Mace and Obi-wan are about on equal grounds here as far as being decent swimmers; however Mace already has that time advantage, and will beat Obi-Wan out. Revan however, beats both of them thanks to small size and Sith powers, along with a possible breathing technique, and my line up going into trail three looks like this:

1- Revan
2- Mace
3- Yoda
4- Obi-Wan
5- Exar Kun (barely... this is very close with Obi-Wan)

On to the third trial... Two Sith warriors approach Revan. He's of considerable skill and power, so this isn't a threatening match. It could last perhaps a minute or two, and then onwards. Mace contends well, but not nearly as well as Revan, lagging behind just a bit. Yoda fights well, and makes up some for his scuba lagtime. Obi-Wan, however, will have his hands full here and needs to defend until he finds an opening. This is where he falls back to fifth, while we know Exar Kun walks in this room and practically right back out again. The line up now resembles this:

1- Revan
2- Mace
3- Yoda
4- Exar Kun
5- Obi-wan

And into the puzzle room. Revan, no stranger to mysteries and Sith games, should find it reasonably easy. I'm not docking him much for time. Mace, however, while smart, is more out of his element at this time, and with the adrenaline pumping through him he may find this harder than others would. Yoda, wise and smart, is good enough to pass this, but he tends to brood much. He will not be right behind Revan in this at all. Exar Kun is hottempered, and may not particularly like having to sit down and figure somthing out, will eventually get it. I'm assuming he will do it before Mace and Obi-wan, although I'm banking that Obi-Wan too will be in bad shape upon entering this room. So my new line up is thus:

1- Revan
2- Yoda
3- Exar Kun
4- Mace
5- Obi-Wan

And to the final room. Since the objective is to get past without harming or killing the rancor (Who takes up a considerable amount of the chamber) Revan will perhaps make use of a distraction or Force powers. It won't be easy at all, but it won't be enough to take him out of the lead at this point. Yoda, however, will have a very easy time getting past the rancor, and it is here I become divided. Yoda could easily flip up and past the rancor, but I don't neccessarily think that would be quick enough to overcome Revan's lead. Hm. Anyways, Exar Kun could easily dominate the creature, or freeze it in place and walk by. At this point he's probably wanting to kill it, but he can't. And it comes down to Mace and Obi-Wan. I personally think both can do it, but Mace already has the lead, and is in far better shape and has a better command of the Force, thus making my final line up something like this:

1- Revan
2- Yoda
3- Exar Kun
4- Mace
Dead- Obi-Wan

Revan: 18
Exar: 15
Yoda: 14
Obi-Wan: 8
Mace: 5

You think Exar will plummet from 2nd to 5th in the swim? I was thinking he'd fry the water first with lightning and then paddle his way across. I also don't see Exar as being much bigger of a figure than someone like Mace, and if Revan has his armor, he'll find it difficult in chamber 2. 2nd to 5th just seems a bit steep.
