Think of it like this. jedi are going to be super speeding towards ragnos, force pushing ragnos, throwing rubble at ragnos attempting to duel with ragnos and a hell of a lot more than that. there are ten thousand jedi in the temple. only about 15 of those jedi will be killed by the droids. About 50 jedi would be able to attack ragnos at a time whether using sabers of the force. Do you really think ragnos will be able to deal with all of that. No he wont.
can someone on team ragnos please answer this properly without saying that jedi dont fight en masse because they do
A HUGE group of Jedi ? How many do you think are needed to keep some parts of the ceiling where they belong to ? And as I said: force speed and away they are.
So all these padawans, younglings, and mediocre Jedi Knights and masters will be able to out speed Ragnos, and not to mention hold up parts of the ceiling while getting pumped by lightning and rained by blaster fire? Right...
If you've ever bothered swinging a sword and then immediatly tried to switch the direction of the swing you would probably understand what I tried to say: How do you parry 3 or 4 attacks per second with a weapon like that ?
I have used a weapon before. You'd also have to say a weapon that's hilt heavy is more awkward to use. If you don't believe me, try using a foil or saber (fencing), which has the center of balance closer to the hilt, and you'd realize that swinging it around is awkward. When you try to hit something with greater mass (aka like Ragnos' sword), you'r weapon will jar in your hand, making it difficult for you to readjust. You can say BOTH sides needs to readjust their combat strategies for this one, but that's just petty.
Hell, even Ragnavion could swing the sword damn fast (and this is game code, not gameplay experience).
In fact all the Sith after Sadow did use lightsabers instead of Sith sword and they did that for a reason. As I said: Naga Sadow and the Sith before him did never came across a lightsaber otherwise they would have used that weapons.
The Sith afterwards were mainly fallen Jedi. The end of the Golden Age meant fewer Sith were around to use Sith Swords. There's nothing definitive to indicate a weapon like a sword is far inferior to a weapon like a lightsaber.
You make it sound like Obi-Wan could kick Ragnos' ass.

They are standing on higher ground owning people swarming at them, AND arrows flying in their direction (a history lesson for you).
In this case, anyone that can actually weave their way past the HK blaster fire would get sliced up in the same way those bearded axe users did.

Everyone is overlooking one simple fact: Ragnos would not just swing his sword through pure physical energy, but he would use the force. He is a advanced force user and would not cower from using a the force to his advantage. If he uses the force to empower himself much like yoda does, he could parry every strike Yoda throws at him.

-"The most powerful of the most powerful" of an empire of "godlike" Sith.
-A small battalion of droids capable of working together in collusion (better than we've seen the Jedi do) and are capable of killing Jedi's in their own right.
Because they will manage the following:
-Swarming Ragnos despite the small spaces.
-Overpowering Ragnos despite their miniscule force abilities in comparison
-Speedblitz Ragnos despite the 70 droids raining death on them.
-Outduel Ragnos despite the fact Ragnos can swing the blade around pretty damn fast and is likely far superior to all of them in combat.

I wasn't overlooking that fact. I'm just thinking that Yoda (using the force to accelerate his movements) can wield a weapon with nearly no weight faster than Ragnos (also accelarting his movements using the force) can wield a sword that is actually somewhat heavy even though Ragnos does have some muscles to use.

Please don't mix my thoughts with that of birthoftheforce...and where did you get the idea from that Ragnos is a superior combatant (and I'm not talking about force powers) compared to somebody else. He can kill quite some people with force powers (see Nadd destroying the entire beast rider population on Onderon with Sith magic) but thousands of force users some of them (in terms of force power) compareable to the minor Sith Lords ? I don't think so...
How are the PT jedi compareable to ancient minor sith lords?
And why is everyone overlooking the mass slaughter that is ensured to happen because more than half of the temple hasn't seen combat or can't hold their own. Geonosis proved how combat ineffective the jedi are, and that was against inferior droids and no Sith lords. How is morale going to be for the jedi who are watching their kin die in droves? Eventually, the bodies will be stacked waist high in some rooms. It would be a massacre.
