So now Yoda would somehow manage to beat Ragnos alone? Look, a lightsaber may be lighter, but it is also hilt heavy, there's no blade for counterbalance. If you've ever bothered swinging a broadsword, you'd realize that the difficulty is bringing the sword up, not actually the swing, where the momentum of the mass is enough to carry it through. Ragnos is almost certainly strong enough to wave it around. And as we see in JK (the code, not gameplay experience), you can move that sword around pretty damn fast.
If you've ever bothered swinging a sword and then immediatly tried to switch the direction of the swing you would probably understand what I tried to say: How do you parry 3 or 4 attacks per second with a weapon like that ?
So somebody like Naga Sadow would have instantly switched to the lightsaber the first time he saw it. No, that didn't happen? Oh wait...
Where did Naga Sadow ever came across a lightsaber ?
A Sith sword isn't so cumbersome and unwieldly, especially in the hands of a great warrior, that it sucks.
In fact all the Sith after Sadow did use lightsabers instead of Sith sword and they did that for a reason. As I said: Naga Sadow and the Sith before him did never came across a lightsaber otherwise they would have used that weapons.
In the Battle of Hastings, there were strong men located on the hill swinging 6 feet bearded axes. And do you know what? They were flat out OWNING people with lighter swords. What makes you think the lighter, more mobile lightsaber would do much against Ragnos' and his fearsome sword?
Oh great...they were standing on the higher ground and owned people that were trying to get up to them ? I wonder how Ragnos would own Yoda - someone who is able to avoid three lightsabers at once with a weapon that can never be moved as fast as a lightsaber. And I'm still asking myself how he's going to parry Yoda's attacks...
