Freud....Nah, I don't like him....I like Jung..
Our minds are unlimited in it's potential...we are just inferior at realizing it...well, that's my take on it............ If there is life somewhere else...maybe they've figured it out...that's why they publish books..... 😕

Our mind unlimited in potential? As much as we would like to think so that is for a fact wrong.

The problem is the definition of the mind. You add the unseen element of the entity to the equation, were as most people are talking about the physical part only.
What is your opinion if you were only referring to the physical part?

That really intrests me,Is you mind so powerful that maybe part of you already knows what's going to happen? Is the reason you sometimes feel happy or sad for no reason something you are thinking in your unconsicious mind?

I think what most people mean by mind is the subjective experience of self; information processing; symbolic reasoning; envisioning, etc. As such, there is no "physical part" to the mind. The "physical correlation" to the mind is the brain, which is a material entity that operates electrochemically and appears to give rise to the subjective, nonmaterial phenomenon of mind.
The physical universe is obviously bigger than the brain. But the physical/nonliving universe--by definition--can not perceive, reason nor imagine, abilities which permit us--as teeny, finite bits of protoplasm--to go virtually anywhere in space and time, including "other universes."
(Asking, "But what if there is a God, or the Universe is alive/conscious, etc"? ignores what I've said: "physical/nonliving", which is how I am interpreting the term "universe" in relation to this question. If "universe" is to be interpreted as being more than "physical/nonliving," that is, possibly alive and conscious, then why ask the question in the first place--which is bigger--since no real distinction is being made between the two?)

This question is feisty enough without introducing "the unconscious," especially since--like the conscious mind--it is a multi-faceted landscape, but one that is largely unexplored and makes up--by far--most of the psyche.
