What is bigger...Your mind or the Universe?

I'm just kidding.... 😄....besides, I said I liked it....I think it's interesting.....Just know it probably sounded better in your head....somethings do, at least for me....

I was reading it yesterday in the news. I think it got more attention because of the close race between the two parties. So....who won?

Back to the topic.....did anyone say "My Penis", yet?

The Universe is a construct of the mind.

Keep in mind, that the Universe has such a huge meaning, that our minds are imagining that we can't imagine the whole Universe. We are limited in our perceptions, but not limited in our ability to draw illusions from them.

It may seen like a silly question. But which one do you think is bigger? The power of your mind's imagination or the vastness of the universe? Can you fill in the knowledge of an entire universe inside your head?

when you see an object certain parts of the brain work.when asked to imagine the same object the same parts of the brain work

if that is correct then we must not rule out the possibility that this reality can be altered simply by imagining your world as something else therefore your mind must be the greater of the two

Our mind of course, or at least mine is.

The mind is way bigger than the universe due to the mind's ego! If the universe had ego it would have long ago rid itself of all humans.

So, can the mind really have limits? (this is just philosophical thoughts everyone)

If we use the term "mind" to describe the higher functions of the human brain, then the mind is subject to limits. Only about 10 % of the neurons in the brain are firing at any given time. If all of our neurons began firing at once, we would suffer an epileptic seizure.

You're talking about two unmeasurable things there. i think the universe is larger though, we couldn't imagine the vastness of the universe. I can barely imagine the continent of the US even.

The universe is larger.

larger in volume ? In cubic meters, feet, etc... the question should be more specific.

the universe. The mind comes close, but not even the most intellectual could possibly come close to comprehending the vastness that is space, let alone the universe....

I THINK ITS YOUR MIND!!! no one can know wjats in the WHOLE univers so their fore iimagination comes in filling in the blanks about whats out their such as planets. or if their realy is an almighty god... my position stands that the mind is much greater than the univers... 😂

The mind couldnt hold the information of all the inner workings in one string of DNA much less the entire universe.

I honestly dont think we havnt unlocked our full brains potential, i think we have unlocked maybe 5-10% so far

The mind is amazing....we're only now scratching the surface of what it's potential is.

I understand what you mean, but that is just a myth, there is no scientific evidence that we use only 10% of the brain. I think that potential you spoke about is not something related to the brain itself.

Mind.
