I don't remember Yoda or Mace toying with Sidious. I recall both of them - especially Yoda - hardpressed to try and defeat Sidious. So Fishy, do keep your negativity of Sidious in check. Yes, he was a powerful Sith Lord. Yes, he won against Yoda and to a lesser degree, against Mace, and yes, he did takeover the galaxy.
In ROTS - the entire movie was about how Sidious's master plan pwned the Jedi. And it did. And so did he.

But I *do* agree Yoda would've beaten him *eventually* had they fought on even ground. Just not to the pathetic degree you're making it out to be.
Uh huh. And is that why Sidious was saberless in a small amount of time? In a level environment, the Sith lord would have been destroyed shortly after being disarmed. True, Sidious did very good at keeping pace with Yoda (I think the stunt double and the CGI figure helped) but he did lose to Yoda in saber combat during the battle.
