Yeah, he can kill people too and not get in trouble.....Fornication, killing..hmmmmm....I think he's told people to lie too....Yeah, he favored Jacob above Essau, and Jacob was a lier.....I think god plays favorites.... 😠
I bet he does. He tells us it's a sin to kill and fornicate, and does just that himself! Hypocrite. 🙄

I always wondered, with Cain and Abel. Now Abel offered an animal, while Cain offered plants - and God preferred Abel's offering. Isn't that a bit like being happy about a blood sacrifice? In fact didn't he say he actually required them?
I wonder if instead of killing him out of anger what would have happened if Cain had killed Abel in the name of God instead of offering the plants.

I didn't get that eithor. Why would prefer slaughter over something that came from nature? And liking another offering over another isn't fair, both gave good offerings, I think God was a little ungrateful. 😕

Yes, after all, both gave the best of their respective careers . Abel was a Shepard, and Cain and farmer. What was Cain meant to do? Go off an kill a wild animal for no good reason? Ask Abel for another lamb? Even then Abel would still be getting all the glory as their his sheep, and Cain is relying on him.
And it's not like God even needed the offering, getting to hard working people to waste the best of their produce for no real reason other then arrogance is wrong in my books. A bit like the temperamental gods of Greece and Rome if you ask me.

Also in regards to sacrifice in the OT, you could bring grain if you were poor, so I don't see why Cain's sacrifice wasn't accepted. It never says in scripture.

Damn temperamental old sod. And here he is claiming he loves everyone. Well, everyone but you Essau. Yes, I'm talking to you. Nobody loves you. Now bring him an offering, anything will do, except you Cain. He doesn't like you either, so he wont like your offering.
