The pursuit of happiness is the biggest mistake of modern man. Secularism, Buddhism and other forms of teaching tell people that happiness is what we should be seeking. This is a BIG LIE. Seeking happiness leads to moral decay, restlessness, and the inability to be satisfied. Happiness or joy is the product of the choice to follow the truth of Jesus Christ. Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit and like fruit joy ripens with time spent in the Spirit.
wow just when u thought ud seen it all some nutter goes ahead and posts THAT. along with a well known christian preaching people to not accept psychology as a science or cure its one of the best examples of relegious induces mind rot/brainwashing ive ever seen from an online christian.

But it does not mean that Jesus as person is itself a God. The name Jesus and Christ are two different and unequal notions... In india, there are said to be many Christs appeared before Jesus times....

I love that quote. Also, I have the Wave analogy on my wall. This is it.THE ETERNITY OF LIFE
Buddhism teaches that life is eternal. It had no beginning and will have no end. Everything in the entire universe, including ourselves, is a purely temporary manifestation of life itself. This essential "oneness" of all things is the true "entity" of life. Becoming aware of this oneness in the depth of our own individual lives is the greatest of all joy. Total awareness of our eternal life has a profound effect on our present, temporary life and is the key to understanding its true meaning. The following analogy may help :
one either. This is the wonderful mystery of the eternity of life.
Then the world beyond is not divided in Heaven(or paradise) and hell. This is a very puerile idea. It presumes that people are either very good or very bad. In reality, no one is absolutely good or absolutely bad. There are different grades of goodness and some are better than others. Our station in the other world depends on our spiritual evolution in this world. The only way we can evolve spiritually here is through love and service to humankind. Love of humanity is the ladder by which we climb spiritually.
Those who are not enlightened fear death. The person who is awake does not. There is light and life, joy and bliss expecting us in the other world. There is nothing to fear from death. Death is the birth of the soul to a spiritual world full of light, love and bliss. God-oriented religion depiction of hell and heaven are physical and denotes the lack of understanding of our spiritual dimension. It reflects, one's own fears and even thought that the dead is punished in “the grave”. That hell and Heaven are physical places. That we will survive in our physical form; would eat and copulate just as we do it in this world.
I believe that there is an infinite ocean of pure reality that is neither outside nor inside the creation--called the Single Principle. That reality, is not a substance, it does not have a being. It is the law of creation. As matter evolves, it absorbs and reflects a portion of that infinite reality. Life for example is a manifestation of that reality. It reflects in the living organism when this comes together in that specific combination. In other words the living being becomes an instrument, or better said, a receptacle of that ultimate reality. The more complex is the being the sharper are its antennae and the more reality is reflect in it.
Take the example of a radio receiver and a television set. One can receive only sounds while the other can receive sounds and images. Some TVs are black and white while others can also receive and transmit colors. Compare this to the millions of life forms that are pullulating in this planet (and who knows how many outside this planet). Each life form is an instrument, they all are organized or built in a way that they can capture life, but then each has specialized in a different way and each reflects hundreds or thousands of other unique forms of the Reality. In other words, we are all instruments, each reflecting different aspects of the same Reality.
This process is not unlike the light of the sun reflecting on different objects in this world. The light is the same yet once it shines on the planet it is reflected back in millions of colors, hues and shades. Each object reflects that light according to its own capacity, shape or texture, yet these objects are not luminaries on their own. They do not emanate light. They are simply reflecting the colorless light of the Sun.
I believe this is what is happening with the world of the creation. The mater reflects the Reality and that portion of the Reality reflected in the matter is the spirit of the being.
Humans are complex instruments; therefore they reflect the ultimate Reality to a higher degree. The reflection of the Reality or the Single Principle in humans is what we call human spirit. Therefore if what I say make any sense, the human spirit is not the product of the matter. It is not born out of the combination of the atoms but is reflected in the body of humans when that is formed, the way light is reflected in a mirror. This would make all humans, animals and as a matter of fact all beings, whether living or inanimate, imbued from the same Reality. We are all manifestations of the Single Principle. Or to say this in a more familiar language, we are all children of the same God.
^Sorry mahasattva, but I do not believe in an after life. I am like a flower on a rose bush. I come into existence and when my time has passed, I fall away. However, I am also the rose bush that never dies and lives many lives all at the same time. I am already enlightened and so are you. We simply need to awaken to our true nature.

What do you base all of this figment on?

Spam is, in layman's term, putting forth unsolicited adverts of some kind - think junk mail of the electronic age.You keep posting those "comics" which are blatant propaganda of the worst kind, and have no place in civilised debate beyond being evidence of the irrationality and ignorance of certain pro-Christian groups hoping to scare/confuse people into faith. Thus one could classify it as spam.
What is so blatant about those good news tracts? 🙂

What isn't? They purposely distort and demonize other faiths and scientific concepts such as evolution - when an organisations so distorts a view so shamelessly to scare people into conversion, I think that pretty much qualifies as blatant propaganda.
When they present such an absurdly one track, idealised progression - people just going "hey, your right, I better convert", that also seems disingenuous, and I would consider blantantly propagandised. There is no statistic that supports the conversion rates to Christianity those tracts make out.
The attack an actual Christian faith while claiming to be Christian.
They have, attached to the each, questionnaires, footnotes to inaccurate and biased sources and so on. That is hardly the sign of debating, rather it is rail roading people who might be taken in by them towards inaccurate sources that only support the tract claim.
They use fear and pray upon the things that concern any normal person. "The devil made your son try and commit suicide because *you're* a Mason." I don't need to say this was a popular tool of propaganda in the past - demonize something, a stance, a nation, a religion so people get scared and support your view.
Now, I could have just said "that is propaganda"but when it is so over the top like these are, blatent seems like a justifiable addition.

Distort and demonize? Wow, these are some pretty powerful words.

Now, now, now. No member of a religious faith should start using words like figmant in such a fashion. I'm sure you don't like it when it is used in relation to your faith.
Actually, the word figment is nothing compared to the many blasphemous things that I read about in reference to Christianity. 🙂
