shaq creates more and easier opportunities for wade by blocking out the paint, and most of wades assists r alleys to shaq which anyone that has the ability to pass can do. shaq helps wade much more than people realize.

And Jason Kidd helps Vince Carter much more than you realize. Jason Kidd is still one of the best passers in the league. And all his assists probaly go to Carter. If you take Jason Kidd out of the line-up, it makes it much harder for Carter to score.

Obviously i'm joking about boris, of course you forgot what your post was, saying Nash has all these great players, and Kobe didn't? Boris was nothing before steven nash transformed him into scottie pippen.

of course you'll leave the bird/magic assessment alone because you can't make a meritable response. You were caught off guard and now realize your knowledge is flawed.

Your social skills definately lack, you can't even tell when i'm being sarcastic etc, or what i'm trying to convey. I was talking about how Kobe has alwyas had a terrific supporting cast during those 3 championships, and you act as if he was the main reason for them HAH, i have 4 letters for you S H A Q.

hows that blood vessel doing bro? anyways about Magic/Bird, i didint say anything because i knew your was just gonna go crazy and then take the debate off topic. and why dont you stop putting words in my mouth, did i ever say that Kobe didn't have great players around him?
did i ever compare Mcgrady and Vince to Bird/Magic? but anyways i really dont care mac, so i'm gonna stop arguing with you and try to improve my "flawed knowldge."

(not in order)
Kobe Bryant
Tracy Mcgrady
Lebron James
Steve Nash
Shaq
Dwayne Wade
Dirk Nowitzki
Chauncey Billups
Kevin Garnett

thank u for being the only person to agree with me that vince is a top 10 player. many people do not understand that vince is not a whiner and a crybaby like he was in his last few years in toronto, because in new jersey you can see that he is playing through pain and injuries...and many people also fail to see that..that should no longer make a difference on his status as a player and of his ability.

ill prove that wrong by giving you vince's stats next time j-kidd is not in the lineup..if that will ever happen, and i have heard commentators say this many times but ill give u the nets commentator, marv...somethings ( dont remember last name) exact words..." what j-kidd gives vince are called easy assists, a pull up jumper, and alley, or a pass in transition, anyone can do it. heck i could get in there and pick up four assists to vince carter in less than a minute." i remember him saying that when i was watching the nets play against philly. if you want to continue on ur point, do so...but you will feel just as dumb once i give u vince's stat sheet without vince in the lineup. even when vince was in toronto he did not have any great players to lead him in his early years, who did he have??alvin williams?? antonio davis?? mo pete?? exactly. he has already proven he does not need a great supporting cast around him to be able to get it done.

What i mean is, without Nash, boris averaged like 4 ppg, 2 rpg, 1 apg.

I know Nash helps Diaw look better than he is, but he not all that difference is because of Nash. I'd say its more because of playing time plus by their 3rd year, players start to figure out the league a little more.

Diaw has gone from 18 minutes to 35 minutes. Not only is that a difference in time, but its a difference in the confidence your coach gives you. Meaning, an 18 minutes per game player is not given the go ahead to play as they like.

A similar comparison would be Steve Blake of the Portland Trail Blazers (who doesn't have a Nash to help him out). Blake is also in his 3rd year and has been given a huge increase in minutes after a season of averaging 4, 1 and 1 in 15 mpg (Diaw was closer to 5, 2,2 btw). If you look at his stats on NBA.com, it doesn't do him justice because he only played like 15 minutes per game at the beginning of the season, but since Telfair got injured and Blake got some time to prove himself, he has become the number 2 guy on the Blazers (#1 fan favorite in the Portland area). He has been scoring roughly 16 points per night with 7 assists per game for the last 1.5-2 months.

very good point

kidd does get easy assists to carter, its a given. exactly oculd be said for most of the lakers with kobe. but kidd does make some easy buckets for carter, i'm sure carter would be the first to admit that too.

also, the nba, and any sport for that matter, is not about entertainment. its about 2 teams of professional athletes. if it was all about entertainment then who cares who wins? it would be how a team wins... oh wait.. that sounds like the wwe. its entertaining yes, because we enjoy watching two teams go at it... but to say its about entertaining is like saying participating it sports is all about the taking part.

I never said he wouldn't score as much, I just said Jason Kidd makes it easier. Without Kidd in the line-up, Vince will have to work much harder to score all his points.

"becuase we enjoy to teams going at it" excatly entertainment, you wouldn't watch it if you didn't enjoy would you? but anyways i didn't say it was all about entertainment, excuse me if i came across wrong in my post. thats really not what i meant, im a basketball player so I watch it to learn and for fun, from a non-players perspective, i assume hes watching it for fun, but again i probably came across wrong in my post.

You mean 11.3 ppg off 38 minutes/game and 38%FG for a team thats no good without T-Mac and Yao, Alston?

And Stevie Can't Carry a Franchise Francis?

😕

Oops, didn't realize I was looking at page one, but still.

1) lebron james
2) vince carter...kobe bryant
3) kevin garnett
4) allen iverson
5) tracy mcgrady
6) dirk nowitzki
7) steve nash
8) yao ming
9) shaquille o'neal
10) paul pierce...gilbert arenas..ray allen...

in ur opinion, who is the best nba player in todays game?? dont list ur top 10..i just want to know who you think is the best.

i dont think there is ONE best player... theres lebron, whos fantastic but defensively still a little suspect... kobe, nash, marion, i'd put dwight howard and chris bosh in there for potential alone, plus the fact hes playing well, theres the pistons, paul pierce, wade.... its too difficult to really say.
