Hard to say. Here are my possibilities:
KG - Has an MVP under his belt and his skills and stats are unquestionable. However, he has yet to really drive his team anywhere except for a couple of years ago when they reached the semi's. He is not as good individually as he was that year and his team is obviously not as good. He seems too frustrated to fully concentrate this season and that may be lowering him to where he is not the league's best as he has been the last several years (in my mind)

LeBron - Like KG, is great all around but is not as good as KG defensively. His moderate team success makes me want to rate him higher than KG but at the same time, his team success is still only moderate, which is not good when weighing who is best. Instinctually I want to say Bron since he is my favorite but I'm not quite convinced yet. Too me there is a difference between most talented and best. He is definitely IMO #1 or 2 in a "most talented" category with Kobe. Speaking of the devil...

Kobe - Best scorer in the game. Best player? Who knows? If he were a better leader/team player, then he would be the obvious answer.

Wade - Every day I think more and more of him and recently I've been trying to figure out who is better? Wade or LeBron? To me, Wade is like mixing LeBron with Steve Nash. He runs all over the court just like Nash but can slam it down with power like Bron (also Wade is good all around like LeBron). However, unlike both LeBron and especially Nash, Wade knows how to play defense.

LeBron, Michael J., Kobe, Shaq, Wade, Olajuwon, etc.

I don't know man, i wanna say Kobe, but its more than just scoring, i guess i agree with Royke, there is no One best player, there are so many good players, but none of them really stand out amongst each other, without there being so many comapirsons, only one person rised above them all, but now i mean hell, you cant say Kobe without mentioning Vince or tracy, can't say Shaq without mentioning Duncan, then theres the Lebron, melo, wade tirangle(althought in my opinion, melo cant comapre with neither of them, but some will argue) I dont know what to say man. all i can say is my personal fav and thats Kob, cuz hes entertaining, yes i know hes a ball-hog, and cant work with anyone, but i still like watching him play.

best in the NBA today, not of all time.

i HATE to admit that too, as much as i do not like kobe, i like to watch him play if i flip the channel to a lakers game.

Don't worry, I agree. I figured after pointing out one major flaw, I've done enough.

I'm sorry, but Michael Redd shoots better from the field than Vince. He not only scores more, but has the better percentage while doing so. Ray Allen is stastically more efficient than Vince, also scores as much as him, and is #1 in the league from downtown. Also shoots a better percentage than Vince. Sorry, I stand by my top 10. And please, don't make me start with overrated LeBron. You guys love following name, persona and hype and disreguard stats competely.

Keyword here is efficiency! Allen shoots less than 'Bron while scoring more. And Iverson still puts in so many assists. He is a better all round player. No doubt 'Bron will break into my top 10 next season. But AI is definately the better player.

i have not seen ray allen hit 50 points this season, especially against the heat...ray's team has not won 10 straight...u know what, i dont even remember ray scoring 40 points yet this season. vince would probably be averaging atleast 30ppg this season if rj was not in the lineup. you cannot say the same about ray with rashard lewis because he is the only other solid night in night out scorer on that team. while vince manages to average 24ppg with jason kidd, rj, and the 11ppg scorer nenad krstic who is overseen because of the big three on his team. last season without rj vince shot 42% from 3 point range, and 47% from the field, and ray will get his 3s because he is a shooter, but vince gets as many points, more assists, more rebounds, more steals, and more blocks. so its the all around game that matters. go to nba.com, go to players, go to vince carter, and do a head to head comparison with ray allen and/or michael redd.

😆 1st, scores more? 31.2 (Bron) vs 24.6 (Ray)
2nd, scoring efficiency? .475 (Bron) vs .447 (Ray)
Overall efficiency? LeBron ranks #2 in the league. Ray Allen? I don't know. Its low enough to not be listed on his NBA.com bio page.

The funny thing is, you said we "disreguard stats competely." Stats were your only argument btw and LeBron beats Ray in EVERY MAJOR STATISTICAL CATEGORY!

Hows your foot taste?

My top 10: Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion, Garnett, A.I., Vince Carter, LeBron, Tony parker, Boris Diaw, and Jason Kidd

Myth, you're mercilous......but it's hysterical. 😂

Thank you. I usually try to play nice but some times people go a little overboard by saying things such as Redd and Ray are better than Lebron and another example would be...... BORIS F*CKING DIAW IN A TOP 10 LIST! Because we all know he's better than Tim Duncan and Shaq, right guys? 🙄

Brav: Just a hint (and let my last post be a warning): Careful with what you say in claiming Diaw is a top 10 NBA player. I may use it against you.

Oh, and I apologize in advance if thats a top 10 'favorite' list.

boris diaw is not a top 10 player, but in the eyes of sam mitchell...: " boris diaw, is by far the most improved player in the nba." and luckily hes on my fantasy team and is giving me near triple double games every night.
