About the stealth thing. I don't recall the post originator say anything about stealth being involved. I think we can assume that this is just a random match. Cyke and DD are walking down the street and see Wolverine and Batman together. The two groups decide to fight the other. Batman would have absolutely no time for any sort of stealth. He'll be too busy being blasted to death.

And DD can totally handle Wolverine. Even more so, he can just keep him busy and evade him. Then Cyke comes in and pops Wolverine a few more times, knocking him out.

There. That's logical.

ok, i dont mean to sound mean either, but the reason (and ive said this twice before), i dont read comics is basically because i have a sex life 😛 there simple as that...and who said we were referring to comics? this website happens to be called killermovies.com 🙄 and thus since ive never read a comic u would have to use common sense that when im talking about these characters, that I WILL BE referring to the movie versions of these characters( Batman Begins, yes this batman ), and he DID use stealth on all of his opponents in that movie, or else he would've been screwed....thats the way batman is, he doesnt attack his enemies directly, he uses his environment and figures out a way to counter attack them without them knowing and use fear to his advantage...thats just the way batman is, and you can say he sucks, but thats not his style to attack directly or, yeah he would be screwed against ne1 with a long range weapon that can see him...duuh....and the maker of the thread never mentioned circumstances, so i can say what i want about them whether they know where each other are...

but still like whoever said before, dd would prolly just sense them both out, find where their at, tell cyclops n he'd blast em' n i didnt think of that....so i apologize if im not worthy of arguing on this board....i just like to speak my mind about my heroes 😮

The ultimate series has been established as being seperate from 616. It is a different universe, assigned the moniker "ultimate" rather than a number.

The "what if" series shows things that happen in other universes. and that's all those are and thats the reason they aren't canon. At a single point in the 616 timeline events happened slightly differently that caused massive results.

In at least one reality(the one I mentioned earlier) Wolverine slaughtered a whole slew of people he had no business beating in 616. Including Juggernaut, Apocalypse and Magneto.

But we are restricted to the 616 characters by default, since that's the mainstream comics, and so that one side arguing for wolverine can't use 2988 (A wolverine capable of beating Magneto, Juggernaut and apocalypse) and people arguing against him can't use 9791 . . .

both cyclops and havok are solar batteries, but cyclops' blasts ARE NOT solar in nature... havok fires blasts of plasma the energy of which can be absorbed from any ambient energy around him...

cyclops absorbs the same type of energy, but heres the science bit...

the power he absorbs opens a dimensional fissure, his eyes act like a portal to another universe... a universe which is composed entirely of the energy which comes from his eyes... the energy erupts from his eyes like a dam bursting... it doesnt give off heat or radiation... it is purely concussive energy...
