Yoda and Windu vs. Exar Kun

You make some sense, however, the quote clearly puts Ragnos above the then current Ancient Sith like Sadow, and Kressh. So, I don't know how you can say 'not that Ragnos is above any other character', because if he's 'the most powerful [of that era]' then he's indeed stronger than the rest.

I don't know how you guys interpret it but I see it as Ragnos being the greatest and most powerful ancient sith. This is supported by various sources including Ragnos being the spokesman for the ancient sith spirits and crowning the DLOTS..

Wasn't the whole "Ragnos owns all" theory based on a grammatical error?

Marka Ragnos ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. He was the Dark Lord of the Sith -- the most powerful of the most powerful.

That would mean the "most powerful of the most powerful" comment refers to "Dark Lord of the Sith," not specifically Ragnos. It started that the DLOTS was the most powerful, and Ragnos was the DLOTS. Not that Ragnos is above any other character, and especially ones that didn't come around until thousands of years later.

Am I making any sense, or just babbling?

It can technically refer to either Marka Ragnos or 'The Dark Lord of The Sith', however I don't think it makes much sense to specifically label the title of 'The Dark Lord of the Sith' as 'the most powerful of the most powerful', given it was stated by the omniscient narrator, and that would be a pretty narrow minded view just to be stated as fact like that.

Supported by the quote alone? If so, then you're wrong.

Marka Ragnos ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. He was the Dark Lord of the Sith -- the most powerful of the most powerful. But now he is dead. And two innocent hyperspace explorers, Gav and Jori Daragon, may follow suit if they get caught between the factions fighting to fill the Dark Lord void.

What I put in bold indicates that the quote is in respect to the time of the story. That alone doesn't put Ragnos above anybody but the then current Ancient Sith. It doesn't speak for the Ancient Sith before, or for the Ancient Sith after.

Considering there are other sources that say Ragnos is the greatest of the ancient sith, my point stands and yours doesn't.

Firstly, my point would only fail if I had said that Ragnos wasn't the greatest of the Ancient Sith. That's now what I said.

Secondly I don't recall any other sources saying such a thing, though I will say that the fact that he lead the Ancients during their Golden Age kind of supports it.

Ah so you basically parroted what I said, nicely done.
