lightning. one stroke, and ben was on the ground yelling, and with iron man, they were flying, and she let out a bolt at him, it hit him square in the chest and he yelled in pain. then sue goes and calls her crazy, even more than regular x-man crazy.

I don't usually scream "poor writing", but that's an excellent example of it. Colosuss can't be hurt by electricity. And lightning doesn't linger long enough to cause melting damage. Same reason why people still live after getting hit by lightning. No one ever melts, even though lightning is far beyond what the human body can take heat-wise. Humans don't melt.

Colossus won't either. And shouldn't be damaged in the slightest by lightning.

Just stating the facts.

Anyway. I believe Carnage has a very good chance here. Epecially being a symbiote and all.

Colossus has a melting point of 9000 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature of lightning for fractions of a second reaches the surface temperature of the sun. Anyway whose talking about melting colossus. The fact i sthat Storms lightning can and has hurt him. He can be hurt by potent enough electricity. These are comic books you cant apply real life science to them or you cant dismiss events in them because they dont fit in with real life science thats ridiculous.

That's just it though, he literally CAN'T BE HURT BY ELECTRICITY. It's a part of his powers. I'm not making it up and giving to him to make him better. His writers have already done that. He is immune to electricity. More so than Storm is.

No it is not a part of his powers. Somewhere along the line you must have misinterpreted but Colossus is not immune to electricity. Please dont make me post scans of the battle scenes im talking about. Storms lightning can and has hurt colossus. I have every issue of uncanny xmen from 1975 up till present im unaware of it ever being stated that he was completely immune to electricity. I believe that is an assumption of yours based on his form being metallic especially in light of the various occassions where electricity has indeed hurt colossus.

Metalmanx is stuck on the melting point thing. I never mentioned it until he did and it is not the crux of my argument.

Storm can and has hurt colossus with lightning. Simple as that, its in the comics, therefore it overrides opinion and assumption so accept it.

I'm just saying. And it's not opinion, you just have to have a wet hand.

In fact, I think that may give Carnage somewhat of an advantage.
