InfinityMan was physically impressive, considering who he beat, but he didn't really do anything that makes him compare to Odin.

And in the Seven Soldiers, he'd obtained the ALE, and was using it.

Thats like saying Thanos would beat Galactus, cause he destroyed the universe.

Does the fact that Superman thrashed Darkseid twice mean nothing to you when we look at his standing?

Even though he's begged for his life?

And gotten his entire invasion force repelled, along with a quick insult and punch to the face?

He just isn't the beast he once was, and you're in denial when you say he compares to Odin, both in there usual power levels.

Until the beatdowns he recieved are retconned, or he does something uber and maintains the level consistently, he's not anywhere near Odin.

IIRC the whole battle and story took place and was resolved in one comic. I may be wrong, but what I recall is Odin going to sleep, Hela pulling out a part of his mind which she called Infinity, Odin waking up and destroying Infinity, Odin restores all that was destroyed.

Nah, it was an arc, that began in issue 185. Stuff was happening to the universe, and no one knew why. The discovery that it was actually a side of Odin was the big reveal.

I only posted what the comic stated, I have no care for the Greek, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian/Jewish/Muslim creation myths.

Right, my only point is that this is what is said by the Norse Myth. But what makes their version of the world creation more valid than what would be said by the other pantheons?

Surely you can't say that ALL of them are correct, in any sort of literal way.

That would be valid if this was the real world, but I'm talking about what's been stated on panel in, Marvel comics. I care not for the views of real world religions and myths in a comic debate.

He wasn't directly doing anything, but he was the one tapping into Infinity, and it was an offshoot of him, of his mind, that was doing everything.

Now I don't know exactly what you want a scan of, but here is a scene from Thor 185, of INfinity destroying a planet, the very scene that we see partially recreated in Quasar 19...

Right, but we've had Hercules tell of the origin of the earth as well, in the Marvel Universe. And we've seen in Thor's very title origins of the universe a more scientific origin for the earth. And as recently as the Eternals mini we have another origin for humanity...so...

I'm going to assume here that Darkseid using the Omega Effect to wipe Odin out of existance is too easy a win and therefore not possible in this match. Like-wise I'm going to assume Odin erasing Darkseid out of existence is also not possible.

I know what everyone wants to see. A power vs power match, an all out slugfest, a match just like the scans of "Thanos vs Odin" that I made a while.

With a power vs power slugfest match, (no cheap erase whomever from existance attacks), I'm going with Odin.

To my recollection, Odin has never jobbed to anyone. Current Darkseid has trouble with Superman. Is that Darkseid's fault that DC makes Superman stronger than Darkseid? No. BUT we can't simply ignore it out of PIS. That's just the way DC wants Darkseid to be portrayed, then so be it. Odin wins.

Oh i guess darkseid needs the ALE to land a win agianst Odin. Mite as well strap Darkseid with the IG to have him win imo. Darkseid without ALE gets his as handed to him.
