This site interviews all writers and tells you all you need to know. It even explains that DS can never be defeated on the physical plain. So every loss against Superman must be an avatar or explained somehow. Hell DS is over 300 feat tall. How does Superman actually fight the real DS when Earth Angel Supergirl who was stronger than Despero got her ass handed to her By DS. And Despero man handles Superman. Irgo, Superman couldn't have beaten DS or the writer completely didn't do his homework.

hey Odin in his past battles can reach the height of 1000 feats btw..
this is not about superman, this is Odin, and Odin still would have the edge baring the ALE.
Basically I was just explaining that Superman coudn't have fought the real DS or it was major CIS and PIS becuz Earth Angel Supergirl was much stronger than Superman and She learned the hard way that you can't fight DS. The ALE doesn't amp DS power, The ALE adds to the power DS lacked. THE Omega Force gives DS power over Life, Death, Souls, Time, Reality, Space. But It didn't give him power over minds. We learned this when He would destroy and recreate beings like Desaad. The actual minds came from the source. DS wanted power over Minds as well. The ALE gives him the most powerful Telepathy in the Multiverse. He was already a powerful Tp, but the ALE is like Ming Gem on Steroids. I do think that if ODin had a hard time taking Thanos down. He surely wont' be able to Take a non jobbing DS down. Who kills sky father's for lunch. THey would probably Stalemate.

Again you speculate in attempt to cling to the little argument you have left.
Instead of speculate, lets take a look at the on panel feats each characters possesses.
Darkseid in no way has shown he could stalemate Odin. Odin as shown above has displayed his superiority time and time again, from shaking the multiverse to fighting on every plain of existence simultaneously.

i never meant to imply he didn't have a hand at all. my mistake if i gave that impression. 🙂 the point was made in reference to his not having been shown battling gods at or near odin's level.

maybe, but each time he did so he would have gained/absorbed power making it that much easier in theory to beat the next one. perhaps he started with the weakest gods? here's a question: what happened to the power he absorbed?
far more speculative? i'd disagree there, my friend. we see hordes of parademons and troopers attacking paradise island on the next page. only stands to reason he'd have had his troops helping wipe out at least the lower level gods of whatever pantheon he attacked. pointless to debate it though since it was never shown and we really don't know exactly HOW he wiped out all those pantheons.

Or would you like the fact that he is indeed a giant and can play with planets like they where marbles
or the feats he did in great darkness saga, where he mind controlled three billion superman level beings, and also mentally relocated the daxamite race to be next to the yellow sun

Ok WTF. I finally got around to getting the Great Darkness Saga to check out DS. Now I was just flipping through it(I haven't read it in detail yet), but this one page in the last issue just stood out to me...
Is it just me, or does Darkseid say that he's lost most of his power over the millenium? So WHY is everyone acting like he's still as powerful as he was during the GDS when he lost a significant amount of his power in the last issue?
