Maybe I've forgotten something from the scans but the entire crisis seemed to be simply dispersing the storm into the upper atmosphere. Getting the energy from point A to point B. Apparently Thor's ability to do so is stronger than hers. Not only that, but I've never heard of Thor's weather manipulation causing any kind of ecological damage. That leads me to believe that either the hammer indeed does take care of everything more handily than Storm does or when Thor creates a weather effect it's partially or completely artificial and has no lasting effect on the ecosystem. If there's another probable option I'm open to hear it.But clearly she is more intricate with it. I don't know how he will be portrayed now, but Thor seems to have a sledge hammer methodology with everything, and that's what all his weather feats seem to be.
No, she dispersed the storms in Uncanny 147. You're thinking Uncanny 121 where she channelled the storm to the top of the atmosphere.

Sorry but the hammer doesn't do the work; Thor does. Thor only channels his power through Mjolnir
This is contrary to what I have read about Thor's hammer. Hence, when Wonder Woman picked up the hammer, she had the power to control the weather as well. Hence Storm told her, "...I too control the lightning..." The hammer can certainly focus Thor's godly life-force and all that of Asgard, however, it also has the ability to manipulate the elements.

DC vs. Marvel is non - canon
I've read even in handbooks and everything that weather control is an aspect of the hammer's ability. I am not saying that Thor cannot control the weather without the hammer, but I am saying that the hammer does come along with weather control.

Thor has shown to summon lightning strong enough to knocking out Hercules without the Mjinor.
Big deal. Storm has focused the full electrical fury of a storm in a single bolt of lightning. That tops this Hercules bit as a bolt like that would carry the power equal to multiple nukes. Don't get me started on what she did to Stardust.

Then you should stop reading fansites

You do know the enchantment reads, "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."
The power of Thor, not the power of Mjolnir
however, it also has the ability to manipulate the elements.
Because it was enchanted by Odin to give the power of Thor to those that are worthy. again notice it's The power of Thor and not the power of Mjolnir.

Whatever. Notice that she dispersed it with only a gesture too. 😉
Only after Deluge was gone, and since he was feeding the storm.....
Edit: I re-read X-men 147, and she says that if she were the Avenger Thor she could disperse it with a thought but that she must work with the forces of nature, not run roughshod over them.
Look at the context, she was comparing herself with Thor, it is obvious that she was saying that unlike her, Thor could run roughshod over the forces of nature.
