And the Mjolnir is enchanted for Thor to control the weather among other things, otherwise, when you picked it up, nothing would happen since Thor would not be in the equation channelling his awesome weather manipulating powers through it.

The Mjolnir either aids/amps his natural abilities, or it does all the work.

Since he has been shown to control weather without the Mjolnir, then what is it's purpose other than to amplify??

Comic Thor is taken from Norse mythology Thor who has Mjolnir. It's part of the characters identity. As usual, when you're defeated in the debate you try to change the subject. It's not our job to hold your hand and explain things you should already know. 😊

And the fact that he doesn't have to "work with elements" at all shows that he doesn't directly control them, his hammer does.

Odin's enchantment is obviously stronger than Ego.

Give me a Mjolnir and I could do the same, probably more with me being smarter than Thor.

Storm directly controls/creates weather and she has better feats with such.


Nobody's asking what you think you can do with Mjolnir. Thus far I haven't seen any weather effect that puts Storm beyond Thor pointing his hammer and grimacing. Even beyond weather, she only has a vague one time feat across her entire career that would put her above something Thor could do.

This is still not counting precision.

Pardon my Sith viewpoint on this, but the only reason I'd see that mattering is if one didn't have enough control to do what they wanted directly, they would have to coax the medium into the desired outcome instead of just making it do it.

That scan told me that Thor can punch a storm into doing his bidding because he has that power while Storm has to ride that same storm like a bull and persuade it to do what she wants. Is there a greater showing of - Thor = greater power, Storm = greater precision?

It could serve as a focus point for his power, like Odin's spear was described when he fought Thanos.

it is cleary stated by storm herself that "IF" she were thor she could do it with just a thought...but shes not so she has to work for it....

this proves that storm accepts the fact that thor's control over the weather is more powerful than her....see...she said "IF I WERE THOR"...
