Actually yes it was, she dispersed the storm across the country. It just wasn't focused in one area and it even says that in the comic.

yeah and it drained her completly, while Shaman still fresh as a dasiy. She was in no condition to do anything after that feat and isn't she can just do on the fly or it would be bad for her.

I noticed a lot of you seem to group Storm fans in with each other as a monolith.
We share a good deal of the same opinions, but not all. It's bordering on strawman, though I do agree that Storm had "nigh-infinite" power, as the text states it.
The thing is, this "nigh-infinite" power entailed her being all dark(for whatever reasons). She gave it up, therefore with her new(renewed) mentality, she worked with the elements instead of imposing her will on them.
Why is Rutog's example of "Punk Storm" being ignored?? It's a perfect exaple of how her mentality helps to dictate how she handles her powers. You want people to be all "cordial" and shyt when you blatanlty ignore the opposing side??
