It's ok that Swanky wouldn't know. Cyclops was pissed that his own father didn't know. I still remember that issue. They were out camping together and Cyclops was trying to rub two sticks together to start a fire. His father said, "Why do you use your heat vision and just get the fire going?". Cyclops threw a hissy fit about it because his own father didn't know that his blasts produce no heat.
Just imagine Cyke's reaction if he found out SWANKY TUNA didn't know, either.
shadowcat - problem?
As much as i hate 2 say this, IW could take shadowcat. IW's forcefields are created by bending light, shadowcat cant phase thru light (been proven (same with lazers)). So she's trapped. this would give the edge to FF. But I still think X-men win, coz if all the X-men bar shadowcat take on IW, IW cant stop shadowcat from 'ground planting' and killing the other 3. then its a pretty one-sided match against IW!!!!!!!!!!1 😮💨
I've seen quite a few times that Shadowcat has phased through lasers... therefore, whats to stop her from holding on to Emma as she mind wipes IW or holds Cyclops as he unleases all out blasts at Human Torch? I'm sure Colossus and/or Wolverine can keep Thing busy, while Beast is quick on his feet and quick to out think Reed long enough for some back up to show...
threads to long to check for this info... but anybody saying that torch going nova is an option is completely ignoring the fact that he still has team mates present.
he would incinerate not only the other team, but his team also. if you ask me, people holding on to this arguement are being silly. its NOT an option. especially if its a spontaneous unplanned battle. such as both teams being teleported into a football stadium made of adamantium (with a dome obviously to keep combatants from leaving).
just a scenario. other than that... i dont know who would win honestly.
