It's about who would have the strength advantage in this fight. Demi thinks that Superman would have the strength advantage against Savage Hulk. My second to last post proves that he's dead wrong...
Anyway, given the information that I've provided, I think we can all agree that while Superman may have the advantage of strength against some Hulk's incarnations, but he clearly wouldn't have any sort of strength advantage against the Savage Hulk, and certainly not Mindless Hulk. In fact, post-crisis Superman would be at a steep strength disadvantage against Savage Hulk.
Originally posted by JuntaiCan you explain this, demi? Why would you use a comic that's 19 years old (predating the crisis,) and out of continuity as a reference? 😬
Dark Knight Returns isnt a canon comic, and is set in an alternate future, it's a Frank Miller book.
And it's also obviously a BATMAN book.

Even the Mindless Hulk?
Pre-crisis Superman has a reality warping power. He can make totally illogical things happen.
If he tries to KO Mindless Hulk with punches, it won't work. But believe me, Pre-crisis Superman would find a way to win.

Pre-Crisis Superman MAY have difficulty with the Mindless Hulk but definitely not the Savage Hulk.In fact, the Mindless Hulk(in some ways) is almost exactly like Pre-Crisis Superman,at least through my eyes.
Mindless Hulk has limited appearances, so he never really had a chance to accumulate any feats, other than wrestling the Beyonder.
In terms of strength, however, Savage Hulk compares to Pre-crisis Superman moreso than anyone else. In terms of overall power, Savage Hulk is far out-classed by Pre-crisis Superman. But, in terms of brute strength, Savage Hulk could do just about anything Pre-crisis Superman has done, and possibly more.

Pre-crisis Superman doesn't exist anymore.

All-Star Superman. I've read about him. That's not pre-crisis Superman.
In fact, he's like DC's version of "The Ultimates." He's less powerful than his post-crisis counterpart.
All-Star Superman has the original powers of Superman. "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound." And apparently, he can fly.
In fact, he's dying from some sort of illness. Something about absorbing too much sunlight, too fast. Should make for interesting stories.

Yeah but he'd have to get mad enough to peform the feats that Pre-Crisis Superman did.Maybe the Hulk is the strongest one there is now,but I can't really say because I haven't read any of the new Superman and Hulk comic books as of yet but the feats I've seen from both of them(in the past comic books) are quite impressive and one thing can be said about the Hulk,he won't give up until he wins(if he can win). But now I'm thinking, the Grey Hulk is weaker than the Savage Hulk and his healing factor is slower so he'd definitely lose against Superman.
