Superman vs. Hulk

Superman does start off stronger then hulk everyone knows that, thats how abomination use to beat him just because he started off stronger and would put hulk down before hulk had time to become angry enough to surpass abominations stregth levels, and abomination is only a high class 100 ton lifter and superman has shown feats that way surpass that at his base level.

Everyone thinks that Superman starts off stronger than the Hulk.

Savage Hulk is stronger than the Abomination. Always has been. Only Hulk's weaker incarnations have had trouble with Abom.

Superman is only a high class 100 lifter. Anyone who can lift more than 100 tons is a high class 100 lifter.

Besides don't use fights to compare Superman's and Hulk's strength. Use feats.

What's the heaviest thing Superman has lifted/moved at his base level?

What's the heaviest thing Hulk has lifted/moved while calm?

Considering superman is always at base level unless he has sundipped then i dunno war world, what has the hulk lifted while calm?

Superman was sundipped when he moved War World.

Savage Hulk moved a tectonic plate, while totally calm. Even the smallest tectonic plates weigh about 10,000,000,000,000,000 tons. (That's 10x10^16, or 16 zeros.)

But normal Hulk is considerably weaker than when calm.

How long ago did this happen?

Saying Savage Hulk, and then "while calm" is someone of an oxymoron. Especially how earlier in the thread you were explaining how it's a stage of nearly unchecked rage.

Savage Hulk is calm unless something happens to make him upset. Like someone trying to fight him. His rage will remain unchecked until something calms him down. After a long while of being calm, (or by becoming unconscious,) he reverts to Banner.

Savage Hulk was helping a friend when he moved the tectonic plate. He's not always angry.

It was probably about 10 years ago, but Savage Hulk is Savage Hulk.

Also in the latest issue where Superman and Ruin fight, Ruin says that Superman when stressed DOES infact SUCK the suns energy, and can/will[in the future] eventually put it out.

Can you recall his exact words? I'm sure they can be interpreted in different ways.

Anyway, wouldn't you say that that is a very impressive feat for a calm Savage Hulk? That would put him at least on the same base level of strength as Superman.

"You think we don't know, do you? About how you're killing our sun? About how you're sucking it dry and destroying this world?".

Moving a techtonic plate is indeed impressive!

Damn... that proves a lot. I guess he can pull in solar energy.

However, I have a hard time believing that it works better than sundipping...

Yeah, sundipping seems to allow the limitless.
Or... proves awesomely effective at least.

So, can we agree that Superman doesn't start off a billion times stronger than him? In truth, they're about equal.

I'd say he only starts billions of times stronger than average hulk.

Yes, sundipped Supes is insanely powerful. However, I can show you Hulk performing feats of greater brute strength than even sundipped Superman's feats, the greatest of which, I believe, is moving War World, which would have a mass of over 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 tons (that's 22 zeroes.)

It is indeed believable that Hulk could become stronger than Superman, in the right form/version and circumstances, I'm not really arguing that as Superman is a dynamic character with multiple angles of great powers, Hulk is just considered the epitome of awesome strength and durability. It would just be more supportive of the character if he proved it more often and didn't get beat up so much.

😉

Though not necessarily billions of times stronger, I'd say he's far stronger than Hulk's weaker incarnations.
