Superman vs. Hulk

Started by Alpha Centauri444 pages

"How do you figure Space is not a factor for these two? Superman can hold is breath for up to an hour in space."

So can Hulk. He has been into space before you realise. Also it's not a factor because....well knocking Hulk into space, does what? Nothing. Due to the laws of physics being a little bit NON-EXISTANT in comics, he could get back to Earth. Coz he has done before.

", so saying superman diddnt really die and come back from the dead beause you dont agree with the writers decesion is like me saying, yeah hulk doesnt really have limitless strength because it is just the writers choice to make him that strong. If it was published and printed it is a valid source of superhero fact"

Well Hulk really does have limitless strength. Superman died and came back but could die again. Therefore he hasn't conquered Death.

yeah your right about Hulk being able to find a way back to Earth ounce in space. there are however forces in space that are more powerfull than both the Hulk and superman, even though this could be used in hulks favor it is still a xhoice superman has. Im not sure but doesnt Hulk need to breath to rage out? I have an issue where the leader captures abomination and gets the two into a vacum because he believed that the Hulk needed oxygen to increase his levels of strength, it seemed to work as abomination was whooping his ass, until Hulk threw him through the wall and escaped.

Superman died and returned, if that isnt beating death then what is? yes he can still die, but if he came back ounce, what is to say he can't do it again. This is starting to go in circles, we may just have to agree to disagree

Thanos has conquered Death because he got Death on his side. She cast him out of her kingdom. He cannot die.

Thanos also has a brutall obsession with death, which superman does not. it be a lot easier to CONQUER not come back from death, if you are madly in love with it and willing to do any thing to win its affection.Supermans can return to death, Thanos is not able to. period. Death will not allow it. all you need for superman to die is a big, stupid gray, spikey monster.

Tremendous, Joey Styles.

Hahaha. Seems funny that you called Doomsday stupid. Dunno why.

hmmm, i think the space aspect of this is being looked at wrong. hulk wouldn't have his leaping abilities in space. he would also have no leverage. he would be a sitting duck just floating out there in space. where as superman can propel himself. i dunno if this has been discussed or not, but i just thought i'd bring it up.

i dont kow why i called him stupid either......oh wait ya i do.....no, i lost it again 😕

Ok lets end this superman just flies the hulk venus and dont even say he isnt fast enough if he can move 164000 miles a second and then he could just beat hulk down in outer space because if u cant breath ur mucles arent gettin anyoxygen so they are goin to tire out fast and not to mention superman would be even closer to the sun so he would be able to go for as long as he wants or he could just leave the hulk there and the hulk wouldnt be able to get back before he ran out of breath or we could just have superman throw him into the sun.

Yes, apparently the laws of physics do not apply to Hulk in space. Neither does the vast quantaties of deadly radiation.

What this is basically saying is that a trip to space can either be fatal or harmless to the Hulk, depending on how realistically the writers decide to portray physics.

Also, how do we know Superman died of exhaustion? How do we know it wasn't a punctured lung or other internal injury?

"Also, how do we know Superman died of exhaustion? How do we know it wasn't a punctured lung or other internal injury?"

Well either he died of exhaustion or Doomsday (created, lest we forget, to be a clone of The Hulk near enough) killed him.

I never said the laws of physics don't apply to Hulk. I just said they don't apply being that he has jumped into Space before where there is no gravity and/or leverage and has come back down to Earth through unaided means.

What were the circumstances of that event?

Sorry if you mentioned it already and I missed it.

Let's think about it: Hulk has nothing to propel himself off- neither does Superman. He doesn't have jet boosts.

Physics is safely out of this one I think.

Flying and jumping both require momentum.

actually superman flies threw a form of tk due to the invisible aura that also grants him superstrength an invulnerability.

very good......but this talk of space is gettin old. lets get some new topics.

New topic...hmm, how about Naked Doomsday?

Thoughts?

"actually superman flies threw a form of tk due to the invisible aura that also grants him superstrength an invulnerability."

While your at it lets give him slight omnipotency and a utility belt complete with pesticide incase he falls into a field filled with bugs or whatever......

I think there should be a Marvel/DC/Anything else pictures topic.

*Meanwhile, an idea forms...*
